Nobody should be seeded through to the final, it should be the four best teams contesting a showpiece final, if that means the host nation miss out that's unfortunate. They might have sneaked a surprise 2nd place though.... Seeding teams to the final is a poor rule imo. I understand it gives a big crowd with the host in the meeting, so seed the hosts to the race off, make it 2 qualify for the final, and that way you have a good chance of the host nation racing in every round. Denmark were in round 1, sweden were in R2 on tuesday, GB would be in tonight, and would create "real drama" for making the final tomorrow. And greg would be up for it as well id say! Look at when the Czechs were in the final & were pony, there fans would rather have seen the team who finished 2nd in the play off than them. Rain stopped a couple of hours ago and it wasn't exactly hammering down, , can't see it being an issue going on past events at the NSS, seems to have the capacity to drain well and be raceable. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Track is fine, been dry since 2.00 and quite warm now, they just didn't want to run practise in wet conditions and then have limited time to relay it. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
