If we have Cook and Ully have to be up there this season. Some really good teams so should be a belter!

The 10 teams have been announced

Edinburgh - Masters and Wolbert

Glasgow - Lawson and Summers

Ipswich - Barker and Covatti

Newcastle - Lambert and Worrall

Peterborough - Cook and Ully

Plymouth - Kurtz and holder

Rye House - Kennett and Robson

Sheffield - Stead and Garrity

Somerset - Josh and Rohan

Workington - Wells and Vissing

Berwick, Redcar and Scunthorpe miss out

Edited above what I reckon teams will look like, King missing as Wildcard.

Sheffield vs Panthers final I predict with Garrity ditching it in the final

Id've thought Lambert and Cook as GP reserves. Though it would be better if they were at the PL Pairs. TBH meeting reserves as they're unlikely to get a ride should be the 2 Lewis's kerr and Rose

Neither going to make the pairs but if called upon in a GP could do a job.

So will the reserves, which assume is Lambert & Cook

No reason why Danny King shouldn't be at Somerset, Chris Harris has ridden for Coventry on a Friday before flying out to a SGP on a Saturday morning.

For the meeting itself I think Newcastle will take a bit of stopping.

Slightly different. This is a big thing for Danny King to race at Cardiff.

No way will he want to risk himself getting mixed up in the PL pairs the day before. Would be madness on his part

yeah but Harris knows the GP tracks and knows he won't score with or without practice, I'm sure King will want to be at Cardiff practice, same as (I expect) Cook & Lambert

They tend to go for youngsters for the reserves, Lambert I would class as a certainty, not sure about the second.

Sadly I agree with you, if all three miss Somerset the meeting will be devalued, but if King, Cook and Lambert want to represent their PL clubs then they can and I hope they all will.

if the lineup is as posted above, I honestly think this will be one of the best meetings this season - excellent lineup on an excellent track

I can't see Cook wanting to ride a practice session where he might get a ride or might not.
