They were very lucky today with the weather after all. Practice got postponed by almost 5 hours, and after that they ran the meeting super quick (including sidecars and mx).

First French World Champ was Fernand Meynier, Speedway ("Dirt Track") World Champion of 1933, in the Buffalo Stadium, Paris.

Runner-up was Bluey Wilkinson, 3rd was Billy Lamont.

Though not an official FICM-recognised meeting, Meynier's success in a field that included Bluey and Lamont testifies to the status of his win. No other Frenchman has taken a World title.

Congratulations to matt tresarrieu excellent all year and fully deserved. Hartel an excellent close second and superb debut year for shanes.

Special mention must go to hummel who qualified for next year after just competing in three rounds.

Will I be able to pay on the gate?

 

Looking to fly in to Schipol and catch the train so timing is a bit tight if not including a stop over.
