2017 Fixtures Update

Recommended Posts

Dave as I remember reading at the time it was announced they were being reintroduced they had to run and if the result went that way after two legs the championship had to go up because of the farce last time they were used!

Yes I know Mike, but someone did say last week on here that he had heard that the promotion/relegation idea had been shelved. perhaps they think it could still be a money spinner(nowt wrong with that) and then ignore the result with a new set of leagues as has been discussed on here. It would be a tidy way of getting it out of the way.

I can't see Newcastle v. Workington postponed last night?

You NEVER see any meetings due to your stubbornness 😉

I doubt it will run, in fact I thought someone dropped a hint on here a couple of weeks ago that the showdown had been cancelled.

Definitely said at Ipswich on Saturday night that the first leg at Sheffield on the 9th, 2nd leg at Leicester on the 11th

Yes Dave I saw that it was getting debated, but you suggest it should be shelved again so I was just making sure that you remember the situation.

If however it goes ahead and as you suggest they ignore the result I hope that doesnt happen because that again make speedway look mockery, As they said that would not happen!

3 matches at Sheffield in 5 days. Wonder how many Sheffield fans will not go to all 3 due to cost, especially those who subscribe to BT sports
