Tight if two legs, I'm going 2 points in favour of rye house over. 2 legs. Forecast though may suggest a 0-0 scoreless draw.

Just seen on bspa site both the meetings off, along with most meetings tomorrow.

I don't know if this is something of a record but of the 33 meetings scheduled up to and including tomorrow, 20 have fallen foul of the weather.

Maybe the bspa should look at the long range forecast, if it is any good and reliable, before deciding when the season should start.

I think it's simply the 'bumper crowds' that Easter brings is the only determinant...

Given the paucity of fans who now attend, those extra 500 or so who go at Easter must become a significant part of the tracks business plan..

Rendered a complete waste of time obviously when the weather is so poor.

Agree, some easters have been good and clubs, especially with local derbys have seen good crowds.  The date of easter does change a lot as does the weather each year but as with the meeting I went to last week it was so cold the crowd was down partly because of it.

Perhaps someone should have a word with him upstairs so that Easter is always late April. Lol!

Well, it is 3 weeks later next year.

Wasn’t being condescending. Thought everyone knew how the easter dates came about. I learnt this at school.

I would think most people know why we have Easter, but i would think very few know the reason why Easter weekend moves about every year
