theblueboy 960 Posted August 1, 2018 Well done to the Rebels as you can only beat what is in front of you, however, that is truly a wretched performance from the Robins.
Crazy robin 2,963 Posted August 1, 2018 Well done Zummerset on a convincing win even without the World Champion. The away drout continues for The Robins but hey ho I’ve had my say.

No team deserves to reach the playoffs with such a horrendous away record. Swindon have two more away wins that Wolves, Belle Vue and Leicester combined. Not many away wins at all this season for some reason.
johnno4 30 Posted August 1, 2018 Interesting to see what Rosco's excuse will be for this shambles.

Mattfordfan 286 Posted August 1, 2018 Swindon had a poor team from the get go. Only a matter of time before they fell apart with that reserve pairing.
Daniel Smith 5,661 Posted August 1, 2018 Batchelor as No1 shows shows his true colours. Wonder who he's gonna blame for that as one thing for certain is it won't be his fault.

Nothing to do with the reserves Batch 2 points only tonight ( he has been great all year) Adam who again has been really good only 5 Tobi a slow start finished strongly. The Swindon top five has not clicked anough in the last two months that is the design of the side if our top five fail it does not matter what the reserves do.

Wonder who he's gonna blame for that as one thing for certain is it won't be his fault. He was absolutely dire. No fight whatsoever. As soon as he went to the back he pulled up onto the centre green, waited for the race to finish and then sped back to the pits. Absolute pathetic and I'd of been livid if I was a Swindon supporter and travelled to watch him. Bellego, Musielak (in his final 3 rides) and Tungate were good for Swindon. The heat 15 ride from Tungate was right out of the top drawer to pass what looked like an undefeatable Jack Holder. Holder was in breathtaking form, ably backed up by just about all of the Rebels team, Covatti especially who is proving to be an inspired signing.

That's the problem. Swindon rely on every member of the 1-5 scoring consistently well. If one member of the 1-5 has a bad meeting then the whole team falls apart as the reserves just don't cut it on the road. Only way Swindon will win away is if the top 5 can get 40 points between them. Jack Smith wont score a point unless he's handed it so that puts pressure on Wajktnecht to score half a dozen possibly more every week on the road.

That is the design of the side your theory is to have everybody chipping in with points for me we have failed because we are not good anough at the moment. Our top five on form should easily carry one reserve Zach as he showed in the week has more than pulled his weight need now to beat Belle Vue and Poole at home.
