Can't understand the Andersen move ( might aswell have hung onto sarjent ) but that's the mad speedway merry-go-round,, can't see Glasgow winning anything again this season & how much more can the owners take on ploughing big money into riders when only cookie & Jensen & the odd meeting vissing & starke now out for 6 werks... Ride well & that's not a go at the reserves,,

Joe's actions went beyond the realms of Glasgow Tigers speedway. Allied Vehicles are a major employer in Glasgow - they employ over 600 people. Their reputation was put at risk with the hotel chain, the Chief Fire officer and the significant number of hotel guests who had to evacuate their rooms and stand in a car park in the middle of the night. I'm confident some, if not significantly more, of those guests would have been complaining at reception the next morning. So if you were the Glasgow promotion and weighed up the full extent of Joe's actions and the potential impact on your major business - would the availability of a replacement rider be in the forefront of your mind? I very much doubt it. Wonder how they feel this morning ??

Chris116 756 Posted August 5, 2019 I see the BSPA website is out of date as usual. It still redirects you to www.glasgowtigers.co instead of www.glasgowtigers.com! You would have thought that when all the teams changed to .com they would have updated the links for ALL the teams not just some of them.
IronScorpion 1,407 Posted August 5, 2019 I don't think all the teams have changed as Edinburgh is still .co & I thought I saw Glasgow as being .org

Can't be that bad surely, perhaps that makes him the world's best passer since he's won things and made the Danish final!
Mr Blobby 2,661 Posted August 6, 2019 Interesting move bringing in a new rider to British speedway at this crucial stage of the season. Could go either way.
