When the weather is fine, why stick to a regimental fixture list drawn up in February. Promoters should get their heads together to see if they can bring forward meetings. Even using guests Track specialists, can improve a team if rider availability a problem.

Is the track in that bad shape? I’d argue you get fewer riders injured on rain soaked tracks as they tend to take fewer risks.

Track covers ‘not working’ clearly means they didn’t get the result they wanted so will not use them, very poor attitude, they work absolutely fine, if anything it was your riders who didn’t seem to be working

Hadn't seen it either but it seems the cut off seems to be extended, one wonders why bother have a cut off in the first place if it is extended season after season.

Racing was shocking which goes against the norm this season.

Some rode ok whilst others couldn't turn the bike.

Peter Facenna apologised for the track conditions after the meeting , and also said that under normal circumstances it wouldn't have went ahead.

So the covers didn't work.

It is because they changed the shape of the track to make entertainment a priority, similar to off track, but they have not been getting the big wins they had before. This has led to a few posters saying "we need to get back to winning" but winning & entertainment does not compute with some up north. Win or lose at the EWR, we enjoy our racing & THAT is the priority, THE FANS.

Last week it was the attitude of their riders, almost beaten before they start, similar to some of the riders that were at the CLRC & at a previous meeting for a certain, nameless, rider.

Rather be entertained than one sided meetings and that what has been achieved.

Reading the rest of your post is utter tosh , if i was stranded on a desert island with you and a tin of corned beef , i would eat you and talk to the tin of corned beef.

"Racing was shocking" ................... How many times have we heard this when teams get beat. The weather plays a big part and track prep is NOT the same every week for every team. The riders, if able & want to, need to adapt.

P C apologised for the track conditions because your riders wanted their perfect track. Not long ago he apologised for the performance at Eastbourne. (Get the picture now do we.)

"Under normal circumstances" ? What is this? End of season meaning having to get meetings on before the deadline! Get real! Teams could, if they tried, could have brought meetings forward when the weather was fine, even on their (many)alternative nights when it suits.
