thebaron 434 Posted December 14, 2021 I dont think streaming of Home meetings would be as popular as streaming Away meetings ? Most of us will make it a date Fridays at the EWR come what may. But a trek down to Plymouth or Poole mid week is a bit more of a commitment. Thats where streaming comes in. I streamed the Away meetimg at Edinburgh last season and it was decent quality as a production. Albeit the racing itself was not the greatest. So if we are offering Scorpions TV in 2022 then take up is likely to be more the Away fans than Scunny fans and vice versa when we are on our travels.

Just hope its not just one camera plonked on top of the tin can stand. Hopefully it will work better than the scoreboard and Rob's completely clapped out PA system- which I would have preferred the money to be spent on.

I guess these sort of streams are mainly used by away supporters, so if Edinburgh can make it pay why not Scunny.

And a reduced price delayed video that you can watch at your leisure would be a good addition too. Realistically Scunny fans that are available on a Friday night will be there, but if you have a prior arrangement then watching a recording is the next best thing. You either are eligible for a visa or not IMO. Tero was a strange case. He either broke the rules or got dumped. Why was he not able to resolve it. Tero shot himself in the foot a bit... he applied for a Tier 2 Sports Persons Visa and it was taking ages to come through so he thought he would apply for a UK Tier 5 Temporary Worker Visa in the mean time... however what Tero didn't realise is/was you have to let the process run its course and you cannot apply for a different Visa whilst one is still being processed... So he got a phone call of the Visa and Immigration people asking him what he was doing (was it dodgy and was he trying to enter the country illegally and other such questions) so then the whole thing got put on stop until he gave some acceptable answers. So when you say he broke the rules yes he did technically speaking... however was it malicious or wilful... No... he's just a bit thick... which also explains the minor issue he had/is having with the track and trace people when rather than being in the house where he said he would be in isolation he was on the M6 heading to Plymouth for a meeting with Scunny... Not the brightest bulb in the box but his heart is in the right place... Regards THJ Edited December 15, 2021 by TotallyHonestJohn Spelling, 3 1

Someone said on here that it felt like he was always 1 or 2 more bad meetings from the axe this season, and it felt like that for me too. He only produced the goods when he knew he absolutely had to. Given that you start team building with a clean slate, it seems a strange choice to bring him back.

Good signing for home meetings poor away( based on last year) let's hope he has his visa sorted for home meetings. Or is at home when he's meant to be and not playing hide and seek with the authorities

Yeah don’t think we had many other options with limited heat leaders available
RS50 359 Posted December 16, 2021 Rob does seem to imply that the last two signings could be special. Who is there, not yet signed? Ellis, Worrall, Lawson, Cook? Could someone like Lyager be returning?. Won't be Auty, believe he will be at Birmingham.
