  2. 06.04.2026: Krakow v Slangerup, international challenge, from heat 3: https://youtu.be/piDP09O5ORY?si=4_XzK8ehFIgU7Cac
  3. Did I read that the monthly rent in total, for Dogs and Speedway, was £20k?.. If so, I presume Oxford Speedway's rent contribution would be some part of this £20k total? Could they pay the £20k themselves? (If that is the rental?)... Two matches per month would require an extra 500 or so at each meetng to cover this in totality... Would an extra 500 (non regulars) attend given they will understand a possible threat of total closure? If the NDL is a money loser then taking time out from that might also help the overall cause?
  4. Speedway didn't even get a mention here either! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp3lq3l5gzvo
  5. I think the number 1 could swap a couple of time during the season
  6. Today
  7. It exists. Every Premiership club has a rep. In addition there is a rep who is not club specific, so that they can feed information and ideas on from fans of Championship and NDL clubs and those with no club to follow. Some reps are more active than others within their clubs. David Lowe at Leicester is a good example of an active rep. The Facebook group Speedway Fans Network UK collects ideas and comments, tabulates those and feeds them to Phil Morris periodically. At the 2024 AGM the spreadsheet was presented to all attendees. It was also available for the 2025 AGM but they may have had other priorities! The challenge as ever is to get clubs to engage with the reps
  8. The response to the final statement should be "No. We're not doing that. We're forming our own company, ta ta". But i doubt there'd be enough either numerically or brave enough
  9. We’re doomed, no question. If this forum and other social media channels is any indication of the sport and who we should be championing and getting behind we are right royal f#*%ed.
  10. Well they have announced the team for Wednesday, they would not do that if there was doubt it was happening.
  11. I don’t agree with this more expensive on Match Day Pricing at some Tracks whether it be CasH or Card.
  12. I mean. A group of promoters, the majority of whom promote Championship speedway. That said, “Cartel” is a very strong term to use. Maybe more accurate to use “hobbyists” who’s preference is to keep to the way things are run because that protects their involvement to a low level of risk whilst fulfilling their egos.
  13. Have to agree, when i was down in Cornwall many businesses didnt accept cash, when i encountered one i just cancelled the order and walked out, i always to prefer paying cash, use it or lose it.
  14. "No. We're not doing that"... "No. We're not doing that"... "No. We're not doing that"... "No. We told you last time we weren't doing that"... "No. We're not doing that".... "No. And we're not doing that".. "Well, that's another meeting over. Thanks for your attendance. See you all next month"..
  15. apparently it has been in operation... we just don't hear anything about it
  16. Not in your wallet though is it mate? it’s in some software somewhere that you have no control over
  17. Shouldn’t do it’s in my wallet. When I used to have cash in my pocket I use to lose it down the side of my armchair.
  18. Really hope that doesn’t bite you in the ass one day
  19. I think Poole will hit the 60+ mark with Pickering scoring 50% of Scunthorpe’s points.
  20. Mines invested. I never have cash always pay by card
  21. You’ve obviously got a pis*pot full of money to get rid of then.
  22. Fricke, Bewley, Kurtz and J.Holder should all average around 11 this season. Then a wide gap down to 8.
  23. I was there too, over the moon that it's back. Probably the healthiest crowd I've ever seen which was lovely to see. It was bitterly cold though with a relentless freezing wind that just didn't give up. Me and my dad had to leave after heat 12 because the cold won, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back for more. For those who are already moaning about it or have negative comments to make, please keep them to yourselves. The people that have poured their hearts and souls into brining Buxton back from the dead would be hurt to see this, and we should be supporting new tracks coming into the sport, no matter what your opinions are.
  24. Just because you don’t agree doesn’t make it wrong, what exactly has he won ? With 2 teams ? Nick Morris example of his mates, if you like to post your examples
