  1. Past hour
  2. probably got fed up with the online service provider taking a cut out of the price ? bad enough with cards, but some of these "booking agents" really take the pi$$h, if you give someone a tenner, you are a tenner down and they are a tenner up, if you pay them by Paypal or similar either it costs you more than a tenner, or the recipient gets less than a tenner !
  3. Let’s be honest the queues at turnstiles at a league speedway match are hardly an issue whatever way of payment.🤔
  4. "This is due to a significant breakout of illness amongst key stadium staff meaning it will not be possible to stage the meeting." Indicates a plague sweeping the Norfolk Arena😷
  5. Apparently not. And if my understanding is correct trackstaff is the issue rather than rider availability. If this is a re arranged fixtures I guess people have plans in place to do other things.
  6. Ipswich definitely in trouble tomorrow, but with all the Prem teams in action, not a lot they can do sadly.
  7. I wasn't at the match, but considering Lidsey beat Klindt in heat 13 & had scored 10 points, I wouldn't call it a strange decision. Sounds like the had a choice of 3 options, none of them wrong.
  8. I hope he wins but Kurtz won it last year and there is only three points in it .
  9. Today
  10. But does smile occasionally unlike Pete with the permanent grimace.
  11. Spot on but as we all know even a new consistent 5-6 point man in the top league is impossible to find.
  12. Big plans Linda in the travel lodge room with four team names in a used mcdonalds brown bag pulling the teams out for the play off's and probably earning 2-3k for five minutes work.
  13. Classic clive tyers so plymouth no longer do online tickets still do card payments and cash on entry, only you suggesting cash flow problems Mr snidey can't help yourself can you
  14. Could they not book a guest? After all I've seen plenty of borrowed officials at other tracks.
  15. 2 re-arranged matches dates are Monday 20th July Vastervik v Rospiggarna Monday 27th July Vargarna v Vastervik
  16. Think you answered your own question there, all reliant on technology and a fully charged phone, in my world a £20 note trumps all of that, especially when internet signal is poor. My wallet is a battered old leather one and always easy to find, don't need to go scrolling through my pockets to find it . If I go into any establishment or car park and it is digital or card payment only, I vote with my feet. None of these systems were brought in to aid the public, they were foisted onto us by the banks and technology platforms ( Apple, Google, Paypal, Klarna) to skim profits off every transaction
  17. Confirmed teams around 5.30pm UK time and live updates from 6pm tonight Rospiggarna v Dackarna https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Organizer,FromDateShort,LiveResult&DateFilter=TODAY&pagesize=10&IsArrangeable=true &ShowSearch=true&Style=SvemoWebsite&CompetitionId=17694
  18. It always happens once a rider even contemplates retiring they seem to have fall away quite quickly ,the CL is a possibility next season but IMO now he should make this his last season as a rider .
  19. Will Ryan Douglas be back for this one as that was a big off he had in Poland at the weekend? Can’t see Kyle Howarth being fit to ride either as still suffering with the re-occurrence of his ankle injury form his spill last week, Dickson will be hoping Douglas rides as if not it’ll be R/R for him and a non premiership contracted rider as guest for Howarth (not much depth left in Championship to choose from as per Ipswich having to use MPT) which will put Leicester in a weakened position than him being available or runnIng R/R.
  20. Yesterday
  21. I agree about Nicholls sadly - even his home form is a shadow of what it was in 2024 guesting for Doyle. As far a a replacement goes, Nicholls is still on a quite inflated rolling average, and Rew might just fit, I would like to see him back. Not sure about dropping Lawson - he is a solid rider everywhere but recently admitted he's a one-man band. Maybe organising some off track help for him is a better answer.
