  2. Friday’s matches line-ups Lublin v Grudziadz- start time 5pm UK time Lublin 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Grudziadz 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Rybnik v Gorzow Rybnik 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Gorzow 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  3. Indianerna v Vastervik is POSTPONED coverage on Premier will be from the Smederna match.
  4. I’ve heard from someone at the club, although it is not 100% yet confirmed… but if Stal are relegated to the M.2 the more likely option is that they will declare the club bankrupt (due to last season) and drop to the 3rd tier of the league system, krajowa liga żużlowa, this will give the club a blank canvas to start again.
  5. Poole certainly had the opportunity early in the season to fit in BSN & KO semis. Signing riders with overseas priorities doesn't encourage teams to be flexible with fixture days. Nice to have a semi match with Redcar, instead of one of the more usual clubs. Pity Poole are getting a string of 1st legs.
  6. A legacy of the Tigers having three meetings to cram in... It isn't a good look for the sport is it that, once again, we have another self inflicted guestfest when a 12 match home season starts in April...? The guest system simply makes it far too easy to run the sport poorly given its a basic "get out of jail free" card to be played.... The bottom line is, once again, a meeting has been planned in knowing riders are elsewhere, and can be replaced by your rivals employees, with the only clear message it sends out being... "It isn't really that important this competition is it?"...
  7. Bit of unrest around Extraleague circles as conveniently for Gorzow Oskar Fajfer is injured and from the round 8 to 14 matches it appears that from his average he is the 3rd heat leader so RR ( ZZ) can be utilised in the matches against Rybnik so Thomsen, Vaculik and Lebedevs get an extra ride !! It might also extend to the Barrage matches against Leszno or Bydgoszcz if Gorzow are in it.
  8. It's poor planning of end of season meetings, that should have been run earlier in the season. With so few league matches, there's no reason why clubs can't fit in BSN / KOC meetings earlier in the season. I don't remember that many rain-offs. Biggest problem is probably 4 Friday teams, who prefer not to race on their off race night. People still ask for 2H & 2A, but clubs can barely manage 1H & 1A.
  9. Today
  10. Confirmed line-ups around 5.30pm UK time and live updates from 6pm Smederna v Lejonen https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Organizer,FromDateShort,LiveResult&DateFilter=TODAY&pagesize=10&IsArrangeable=true &ShowSearch=true&Style=SvemoWebsite&CompetitionId=17345
  11. Simple answer, come to Wimborne Road as usual and watch footie on phone!!😉
  12. Where does it say people are staying away. Also they was no public statement when Poole fans were abused at Oxford, just move on and forget about it.
  13. Yesterday
  14. Doyle yes, still has the hunger and ruthlessness to mix it up,tai no, I’m no fan of woffinden but I am happy to see him back after injury but I don’t see him as a world force anymore, maybe a wild card for a round to show appreciation for his contribution to the GPs like they did with Gollob
  15. And the winner of this weeks most stupid post goes to….. Doyle has been the most loyal overseas rider to British speedway over the last 10-15 years This meeting could only be rearranged for Wednesday when he has a contractual agreement ……. You may or may not be aware this meeting has to be staged before the cut off leaving not many nights when it could be run If this was rained off mid season it would 100% be rerun on a convenient Monday or Thursday with 2 fill teams barring injuries. Ipswich have moved fast to secure 2 guests both of whom go well at Sheffield
  16. Major controversy incoming for the Play-Offs. Again, Belle Vue have instructed their solicitors vs the BSPL, who have notified the remainder of the league of the circumstances. Before a wheel was turned in March, Belle Vue had instructed their Play-Offs opposition which had been verbally agreed by the Chaiman of the BSPL. So, following the agreement made in March the Play-Offs will be as followed........ Semi Final 1: Belle Vue vs Birmingham - 1st leg NSS / 2nd leg NSS Final: Belle Vue vs Oxford - 1st leg at NSS / 2nd leg NSS Semi Final 2: Ipswich vs Sheffield - Postponed Leicester: Withdrawn from the Play-Offs due to to many illegal immigrants in the City. Of course, this is absolutely, 100% (not) fact & know how Belle Vue & some fans like to cry about the injustice they suffer & highlight how great they are. Even with all this, Leicester still win the league 😛😛
  17. Shano, it is a worry that your team is not performing, but would expect they can beat Rybnik and then Bydgosz/Leszno. Admittedly it is no certainty.
  18. I agree under the current rules a rider racing 2 home & 4 away will gain an average. But I don't remember them ever changing a legitimate average, once rules have been changed in later seasons. Not including re-assessed averages. Heck I even remember 20 years ago Ipswich having to sign Protasiewicz on an average that included bonus points, when no one else's average included them after a rule change.
  19. I would say that the finishing places in the league will be same as they are at the present. (1st) Ipswich (2nd) Leicester (3rd) Sheffield (4th) Belle Vue
  20. I'm sure Lambert will get a wildcard, Doyle probably less likely if he's the 4th best Aussie. I'm not saying it's right, but nationality makes a difference to who gets a pick.
  21. Totally correct Doyle has been a mainstay and totally loyal to speedway in the UK, that is fact. I also applaud Ipswich to agreeing to quick arrangement getting this fixture sorted before the Play Offs.
  22. I'd give Doyle a wildcard if they are still against Laguta and Sayfutdinov, but would put those 2 in front of him for sure.
  23. Agree and probably should have had another win and an LCQ place on Saturday.
  24. What a load of twaddle! Doyle is one of the most loyal non-Brits to British Speedway. It's not his fault the fixture has been rearranged and it coincides with a commitment he's contracted to elsewhere. It's a rock-and-a-hard-place for the Witches, who have managed to find guests for both missing riders.
