Poole v Plymouth Championship
Gladiatorphil replied to Arthur54's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Poole win at home. Instead of being happy with that or congratulating Plymouth on keeping it tight. NO.... the Poole fans slag off their own riders, the track and everyone else because Plymouth actually made a match of it.. HOW DARE THEY. I know it's Pooles God given right to win by a mile every meeting, but a little humility wouldn't go a miss. Still Poole "big fish, little pond" ! -

Not really a mental block more that they just need to gate! -
Obviously I don't see Bewley as often as BV fans do, but I have always felt this is the area where he is lacking. Fantastic individual rider, but rarely seems to give any assistance to his riding partner. Before I am accused of bias, I will say that I have the same criticism of Jack Holder, although it is an area where he seems to be improving. By comparison, the way we saw Tai working with the lower order riders when he returned to Sheffield in 2023 was a different level. Constantly looking for them, letting them past and then giving protection. Chris Holder also very good at this, so maybe it is something that comes with age.

I would suggest the majority of the riders are happy with it slick and don’t want much water on it during the meeting.

All Glasgow riders hitting top form now and looking like the favourites for me. Nagel signing proving very influential, he really is an exciting prospect. -

You write some garbage too. Dan T got 13 that is more than 10 or 12. Steve did not say Klindt hated the track. Nicholls usually rides Poole very well, he isnt going to beat Lawson not many do. He rode well last night but we had riders who clearly were not at their best. The middle order were poor, they have to be better in the play offs. -
I think this where Doyle and Emil are superior to Kurtz and Bewley, they team ride the best out of any big guns in this league when needed and constantly look for each other when racing. Bewley and Kurtz are still young though so it’s these things they can learn, no criticism to them. Let’s see if they have a different attitude when they are faced with being knocked out of the play offs if the same situation occur.
