Bomber has had a few difficult meetings this season, thankfully Kyle, Leon and Kevin going well, Sam did well at 2 at Scunthorpe, hopefully when Mario gets back, he will kick on at reserve, Freddie struggling, not sure we will make the play offs this year.

True. I may be wrong, but I believe Flint had a nightmare at Scunthorpe last season, so on a positive note, at least he’s contributing. Changes need made. Stevie Wonder can see we’re winning nothing with this side; wholly unacceptable, given the Facenna’s investment and inevitable outlay on this side. -
Watched the stream v Glasgow, what a star you have in Ingram and you have a genuine no. 1 in Pickering
-
They definitely missed a trick now replacing Ablitt before Ingram got his new average.

The White Knight started following I’m leaving also

It could be YOU!!!

That was a meeting we probably should have won. Difficult to foresee away wins this season with Bomber having a poor Championship so far.

Paid Six on an away track ?……..think you maybe wrong ! -
Flint 6+1 from 5 is very poor when you look at who he beat.KJP got 7 from 4 and it’s probably his 1st visit. Its not going to plan yet for Tigers.Unbeaten in League at home though which is a bonus.

No Scunthorpe v Glasgow topic, emphasising how disillusioned both sets of fans are. Never achieving anything in a meeting your number one and captain scores three points. Away from home, I don’t actually think you can criticise anyone else. While we might appreciate a point or two more from Flint and Hodder, they delivered their average which, on the road, is the least you’d expect. Credit goes to Howarth for a great evening. Feeling somewhat deflated that this season will amount to nothing. -
Plus current bunch Pickering aside will be cheap as far as riders go.

All made sense until you said the word "open the wallet" you have more chance of breaking into the deepest vault in the bank of england than said wallet.

I'm almost too afraid to post this.. Maybe he should bring it back for his cap then 🫣

Foxes vs Lions PL R1 21/05/2026 19:30

At Football though it'll generally be the Police that delay a start due to crowd safety... you've not got Sir John Ratcliffe faffing about at the only 2 turnstiles open at Old Trafford scratching around in his pockets for some pound coins due to a lack of change 😂 Start time should be start time imo. If Ippo want to have their parade at 7:30 great! Just advertise the start time as 7:45, you shouldn't really have different tracks doing different things. If Ippo cancel their parade due to weather heading in (when that used to happen) did they start at 7:30 or 7:45? -

The ref will just follow local protocol. If the CoC says we start at 7:30 with a parade the ref will just say OK. The ref merely controls the match not the clubs procedures. -
Should be fine on Wednesday then!🤣

There are always people late at football matches, because you see the empty seats gradually filling (and at the start of the second half too). Although, to be fair, a couple of Prem matches were delayed this season because of problems on the roads, which prevented access to the stadium. Plus, speedway is nothing to do with football - or any other sport. It's British speedway tradition for the parade to be part of the meeting, i.e. Ipswich speedway has always advertised the start time as the time of the parade, i.e. 7:30pm and first race at 7:45pm. I really don't see what the problem is - in the list of British speedway's problems, this must be rate in the bottom half a percent. -
Both had been practicing on track for a lot of Friday

Really? 😂

The contempt shown towards every speedway follower sums up why the sport is in decline. It does not deserve to be taken seriously and the pig headed ignorance of those who happily take your entrance fee but give little or no guarantee that you will get what you pay for is contemptible and those who are in charge work on the basis of caveat imptor which sums up everything that is wrong with what at best is a form of entertainment but actually falls short of being entertaining. Many people who use to be avid supporters/followers were major contributors to this forum but just look at the limited number of responses to any given match on each meeting compared to a few years back and that in itself is a measure of how far it has become a joke. Anyone with money invested in UK speedway needs to get out asap. It is not an investable proposition and in its current state has no chance of attracting the exposure it needs to grow. Is Rachel Reeves in charge.?

Well I'm thinking that was a bit of a result especially considering their lack of experience, pity Cooper only got the one ride. Back to Pirate matters, it'll be great having Rushen back on Wednesday as I'm guessing it will be r/r for Bowes.
