  1. Past hour
  2. Getting tickets from the Lodz website is not difficult, I've bought them several times. What is difficult to know is how quickly they'll disappear. I'd suggest with a capacity of only 10,400 and with it being a new (and potentially great) venue, they'll sell out the day they go on sale, perhaps even very quickly, so as you've already booked flights, you should make sure you are (if not already) registered on the club website and ready to go the moment the tickets go on sale. Have your passport details ready for all tickets you plan to buy.
  3. Tungate hasn't been announced for a Swedish Club yet, Possible option? 5.89 holds value imo.
  4. as bad as the guy who does 360. speedway
  5. You should try working on a car in there on a cold wet night !!
  6. Again like I said above, what were you thinking could be included out of curiosity?
  7. That was a hard watch wasn't it ? So much he could have discussed but he came over as if he was forgetting everything.
  8. I can't remember it but pretty sure Buster owned the stadium might have been the year after Waggy ran things for a season Bagpuss will probably know. Doh would help if I read to the bottom of the thread he has answered already.
  9. Today
  10. Has anyone seen Harry around London kicking the doors in of big business searching for sponsors ?
  11. Looks there’s no admins on here anymore, topic has been going along time and nothing!!!!
  12. Regarding tickets for the Łódź SGP I’ve seen a post on X/Twitter. Thanks to Google Translate it says … Phase 1 for Pass Holders from 28th Jan to 31st Jan. Phase 2 Open Sales from 1st February. Presumably Pass Holders are Season ticket holders? Does anyone have any idea how easy/difficult it will be to get tickets? Flights and hotel booked 😬
  13. Never mind the riders, its not nice for punters to park and walk on! Unfortunately its the one part of the stadium not owned by Buster but instead the council, and neither party is willing to resurface it.
  14. The last time Plymouth tried to go NORA they were threatened with consequences about not being able to run their championship team if I remember correctly. Easier for the likes of Kent, IOW and Mildenhall that don’t run any other teams under BSP
  15. That doesnt resolve the rubbishty floor that you find in most stockcar pits. If you ever go to Kings Lynn, have a look at the stock car pits on the back straight, and then tell me speedway riders would be happy in there.
  16. The meat raffle a definite plus... As would be a "Snowball".... Just like being "down the Legion" for those in attendance.... A non taking the pee idea could be to win a Season Ticket? The first few meetings you could run a raffle for say a fiver... And then run a chance to win blocks of tickets through the season.. I would suggest you would get several times the actual value of the tickets back, with even those not always attending entering through mates who were... Admittedly, 9 matches wouldn't render a season ticket's value too high, which could be a drawback, so maybe a quid a ticket would be more appropriate..?
  17. Cannot believe how much interest this thread has shown over a thug.
  18. This weeks Speedway Star (17/1) contains the 2025 Workington season review.
  19. 1996. Was because of the purchase of the stadium by Buster rather than a change of promotion.
  20. More like what was the interviewer on 😝 very poor asking questions then went off on a long ramble missing the question he wanted to ask. I only lasted 15 minutes, may try to watch again. Found it on YouTube
  21. The mind can play tricks at my age, but I have looked back and double checked. The Speedway Star last week suugested that 5 Clubs had confirmed / requested to join in 2026, that the League hoped to have 8 teams. Whether there are enough teams to stock 8 teams would be a moot point, so I am not sure if they would have a 4 + 4 split. It may be that 5 or 6 teams is the limit for one League Oxford Buxton have publically confirmed they wish to race, not sure anyone else has formally confirmed. It would be strange without Edinburgh and almost certainly Redcar, and equally, with their facilities, Leicester. Whether Belle Vue retain their long association, or Kings Lynns impressive roster want to return in unclear. Scun/Sheff; Plymouth and Workington seem to have made absolutely no comments at all and it has been publicised that Kent are trying to tie up a long term stadium agreement to justify considerable investment in a new air fence. Mildenhall have confimed they want to run NORA and I wonder if a few more in the South like Kent / Plymouth / IOW might go down that route.
  22. So what’s the hold up at Scunny considering that all other teams are finished barring new foreign riders at Worky and Berwick. It makes me wonder if there’s been a U turn or were they waiting for the new rules on riders averages where they have missed seasons, could they be going for Jason Garrity?
  23. I think its most years that you don't notice whether they have turned up or not
  24. Yea I agree an app would be a good addition and tickets could be sold and accessed for stadium entry by the app. There is a lot the app could be used for and it would be good for getting younger people involved and telling fans what exactly is happening at the meeting, sometimes we seem to be kept in the dark.
