  1. Past hour
  2. Oh dear, sounds bad. If you have a replacement hip then if my experience is anything to go by, after about 7-9 weeks you won't even notice it's a false one. Best wishes.
  3. Potentially. Will probably only be BSN final looking at fixture list or maybe playoff SF if it got called off tomorrow.
  4. I pretty much agree... To keep it competitive I'd say Ipswich need... 9 or 10 from their reserves 18 or 19 from Emil & Doyle 11 or 12 from Brennan/King/Thompson I reckon a total of 39 or 40 should lead to a terrific 2nd leg...
  5. Oh my goodness! Very best wishes for a full recovery - once they get you moving, make sure you follow all the physio 👍
  6. Will stay home in the future. I accept your advice.
  7. It is a development league. Riders need time to develop. The riders you saw are developing and can only get better by being given and taking their chances when they come. Yesterday you didn't see 4 birmingham riders because of various reasons (injury grasstrack working etc). I believe the riders you refer to , were due to guest for Kent last week at Plymouth until it rained. I'm afraid if you want to see the finished article, you were at the wrong meeting.
  8. Today
  9. But the point is … the weather. Criticise the BSPA/L and/or TNT Sports as much as you want, but if the weather intervenes there’s not much to be done - except criticise them for forcing the match to go ahead in poor conditions, as happened with Sky and BT Sport (and Sky walked away from their contract, while BT, after rescuing the coverage, weren’t interested in renewing).
  10. We'll want two meals on both days and then drinks on top, including in the stadium, plus any tips. Not really looking to spend anything more than that.
  11. I was and paid to see too many wobblers in Brum ‘team’
  12. Will this be the first year in SoN history that the winners score the most points overall?
  13. I do worry for Ipswich tonight tbh, Adam Ellis really has to step up tonight otherwise this could be a bit of a battering. Doyle clearly lacks speed around the NSS, Emil may get the odd win over a BV Heat Leader around the NSS but he usually gets beat by them more often than not. I've got no faith in Danny King stepping up in high pressure situations and Tom Brennan @ No.5 worries me as he's a bit hit or miss this season. Poor performance from Ellis then BV could be looking at a lead of anywhere between 14-20 Points imo.
  14. What sort of thing are you looking to do? Torun is a lovely place but there's not a great deal to do, although you should be fine for a couple of days. It's a nice place for a wander about, some lovely architecture like a lot of places in Poland. If I remember correctly, the prices are about in line with most other speedway places (aside from Warsaw), in that it's cheaper than the UK (where isn't) but not dirt cheap. The tram back and forth to the stadium will be coppers really, there's a stop virtually outside, and you'll certainly not miss the stadium! Enjoy your trip.
  15. Is there a meeting planned at Poole for Wednesday 24th Sep? Or is there likely to be a meeting if Poole beat Redcar and/or Glasgow? I need to visit Poole for work around that date and I’m hoping to catch some speedway too! Thanks in advance.
  16. From a neutral's perspective, I think the perfect score to keep this in the balance for the second leg would be Belle Vue 51 Ipswich 39.
  17. Score predictions tonight : Emil - 10 King - 4 Doyle - 9 Dan - 3 Brennan - 6 Ellis - 6 Edwards - 2 Result : BV - 50 Witches - 40
  18. I'm wondering how much Zloty I'll need for the SON final on the Saturday. I arrive late morning and depart early evening on Sunday with accommodation and stadium tickets already purchased. Anyone have any advice?
  19. Well spotted. It's good to know that Poole fans are so well informed and up-to-speed.
  20. Unfortunately the team holding it up is the same team the BSPL stopped riding in mid summer. Until Friday night they could have still qualified in 4 th place. You think Poole & Redcar have it bad, what about Edinburgh & Glasgow who only knew at 9.30 pm on Friday 5thSeptember who was playing who 🤷‍♂️. Crazy
  21. Wroclaw are furious with Bewley's performance last night at Home to Torun. The Wroclaw management are now refusing to give Dan Bewley starting permission to take part in tonight's SF 1st Leg who are insisting that he spends the day testing equipment around the Olympic Stadium in their quest to win a losers bronze medal. If Dan doesn't comply then he must pay back every Zloty of his signing on fee.
