When are the fixtures typically released? January?

I don’t think you can underestimate the pressure our team building put on those two young men. The number six - Hodder to begin with and now Perry - had a remarkably tough gig, especially. Neither have had the protection of an even slightly more experienced reserve partner - a Grahn, a Starke or a Hook, for example - to bear a bit of the weight and afford them to the time to develop. I’m not sure what I’d do next season. I think a lot of that depends on how the month of October goes.

Not for me, it has to be one or the other, especially with nothing other than pride riding on it, the "LCT" would become nothing more than an end of season fixture filler. -
U don't need to fret coz the Kermits don't get to Finals so u won't need to stand out in the cold wearing yer long johns and mittens! 😀

Organisation and a strong hand on the tiller, no rearranging matches because a rider is a reserve in the Timbuktu Open Championship.

he Workington club received information prior to fixture versus Berwick on Saturday 27th September that Fraser Bowes had refused to travel back to the UK from his base in Poland to participate in this final fixture. By Mr Bowes refusing to compete on the 27th of September he has breached SCB Regulation - 017.2 i) Failure to attend from a meeting duly listed on the official fixture list. Due to this breach of the Regulations, Mr Bowes SCB Registration will be suspended for a period of 28 days as from the 27th of September.

Hannah is a decent rider would hold her own in the national league. Ask Ben trigger he followed her around a lot 😂 -
As we go into October, yet again various finals are still to be completed and the weather is changing. Yet their is talk of one league with more fixtures to cram in !! How will this work out ??
-
I'm sure they are when they don't have a lot of fixtures to fit in. Oxford don't have anything else if they got through so it would have been easier.

GP line-up for 2026
Phannan replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Another drab gp year ahead then. Same riders year on year . No challengers to Bartek other than Brady and Dan . The winner of SGP 2 should definitely be promoted to SGP1 the following year. Obviously a good rider to win that can definitely improve at the top level. Every sport has promotion as a prize . Speedway is different obviously. That’s why it’s struggling badly and the gp has become a procession. -

SGP 2026 and Sprint Races.

Personally, I don't see the point of them. I'm not bothered about the points they can add or anything, I just don't really think they add anything in the current format. We went to the one in Wroclaw and it was just 30mins of a pair of riders going around followed by one race. Aside from a quick flash of the times now and again, there was no build up towards anything. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't rush back. Also, does qualifying really matter in speedway? I know some tracks will have their gate bias, but it's not like you're starting 15m behind, you're still getting 5 rides the same as everyone else. -

A good idea in the Premiership & Championship divisions would be for a trophy given to the team finishing in first place, call it 'League Winners Cup', then award another for the winner of the play offs, 'League Champions Trophy', keeps everyone happy.... - Yesterday

If I was being pedantic I'd say they don't race in the Premier League, they race in the Premiership. Aside from that, I agree the points for draws is daft, I see no reason why both teams can't just score a point without a superheat. But the aggregate points is a good rule. Even removing the extra points from draws Sheffield would still finish first. After all that, finishing top doesn't make you the league winners, as much as I think it should do. -
It also came out in a recent audit, that Stal were never paid by an organisation (not named) for Gorzow GP in ‘21, ‘22 and ‘24. 2025 GP profits had to be used to subsidise the lost payments from the before years. If this wasn’t the case the club would almost have had no debt by the end of this calendar year. In addition it was also mentioned the play down matches with Częstochowa and Bydgoszcz have cost Stal a further 1.2 million zloty for running stadium costs and rider costs. 30th of September (Tuesday) is an official meeting between the city and the club.

There’s already 5 teams from this years prem for 2026 - The top four of 2025 plus Stars & Oxford although as the Cheetahs. But you may be correct that three other promotions may join the top flight to give an eight team Prem

Now it makes sense! Thanks for the snippet, and this is the reason I don’t buy the speedway star as they don’t have the full context and story yet give English fans false news. Back story: Stal are in many millions of debt due to a former stal president (Sadowski) who is currently now on the run and not even in the country and police want to question him. He fled the country and said he is going on a two month cruise on vacation without his phone or way of contact and is yet to return, fans don’t know where or what has happened with him thus far. The former president took millions from the pockets of fans and sponsors for his private company and use and did nothing to help build the club or the team and sometimes not even paying the riders, he is the man who broke the club and when the club announced that they would have an internal audit at the end of last year he quickly fled the country and resigned as president. He is the man who told Wozniak that he will have another year on his contract and a few days later, straight after a match told him he is not in the plans and broke the agreement and told him to leave, much to fans frustration. Before this former President there was a President like fans liked (Grzyb) and he did everything for the club, he built it up, invested in the stadium, team and even the fan club helping out with various things for them. Fans liked him, but he was caught in his private company money laundering and was arrested and put into jail, before he got arrested he named dropped one person, for stealing from the club, slandering his name previously regarding a drinking allegation (which Grzyb took him to court and won) and who worked highly within the club between 1991-2001, who was this man…Jerzy Synowiec. When Grzyb was arrested Stal needed to quickly appoint somebody from within the club to president…enter Sadowski. Why is that story important to the speedway star snippet… because the man who works for the council now and gave the interview is called Jerzy Synowiec. When Sadowski become president he became close friends with Jerzy and got him on his side to allow him back to watch matches as his own VIP, he was often photo’d with the former president and was claimed to be very close friends and potentially knew of the scandal, when Sadowski went on the run, Jerzy was once again banned from the stadium even as a VIP guest, he is now known to constantly try to bring Stal down as they forced him away, his name has been dragged down because if his friendship with Sadowski, so he now has a personal vendetta against Stal to try and clear his name. The next snippet is from Polish media regarding this situation: Lawyer Jerzy Synowiec was accused for months of stealing souvenirs from the legend of Stal Gorzów Edward Jancarz. The case fell silent with the forced change of authorities in the club. The former president was arrested and arrested for money laundering, and soon director Tomasz Michalski also passed away. The administrator of the website that attacked Synowiec told us who the orders came from.

Personally I think the BSN series should be completed first because it was an early season competition. Then the KOC, cause there's no reason that should have run so long either. Finish up with the play-offs. I would think that would get a big crowd whenever it is raced. Whereas the BSN may get a smaller crowd of fans have already just watched the play-off & KOC finals. I can certainly see the logic in finishing semi finals before racing finals, means the other finalists can plan dates without having to wait though. The BSN series should have been completed months ago, no excuse for it going on so long. Of course clubs tend to ignore it as they want to get their league fixtures over & done with, I don't really know why, the cut-off date doesn't need to be so early it'll cause havoc with fixtures. I also think it would have made sense for the Redcar vs Poole match to be a double header, that seems very logical, save on travel expenses & get competitions completed sooner. Oh I forgot, another reason to race the KOC finals first is to get bigger crowds. Poole & Redcar fans can't be sure they'll be in any more finals, so they may turn up in greater numbers for these matches? If it was just one out of 3 guaranteed finals, would they get the same attendance?

What are peoples views on the Sprint Races? Do you think they will be dropped in 2026 or expanded to feature at more Grand Prixs? * From a personal point of view. I see little point in them unless you could incorporate them in some form into the main meeting on the day itself.

If Max and Freddy were to continue improving at this rate they will have good careers ahead. Max is steady whereas Freddy can't gate but battles past riders when possible. Too many young Brits have chucked it so don't see what unwarranted criticism achieves here. We finish top of the league and make the play off finals. That's plenty good enough for me thanks.

I agree with that. But wouldn't have fitted in the current team in place of a reserve. One of the top 5 wouldn't have been signed. In hindsight you'd say Boughen, but pre-season he could've been the next big thing.
