This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. First of all thank you to those who allowed the stream to happen. Thought the production was top draw and although I do take it for granted I really shouldn't. Begrudgingly well done to Poole. You deserved it over the two legs. Without the best rider in the league and Kerr after his first ride. Glasgow were very strong at 3 and 4. Howarth battled away but didnt make a start all match. I dont like the Glasgow Nagel situation and it may well cost them as a result, as good as he is and he is very good. Congratulations to Poole! The better team over thirty races.
  3. The Invisible man (aka Nagel) is listed for Grinsted in the Danish SuperFinal tomorrow. Wonder if he will have made a miraculous recovery from his injury absence tonight 🤔
  4. Silly how anyone thinks losing Lawson for Jeppesen isn't a disadvantage. Lawson especially the second half of the season has been different class for Poole and the top rider in the league. Regardless of a previous score at Glasgow (how often do away riders match successive scores at tracks), losing the leagues number 1 to be replaced by Berwicks third heatleader is a disadvantage. Would Lawson of scored more than 9 from 5? Almost certainly. Still a great effort from Jeppesen and will be in demand next season. Was hoping Glasgow went through to be honest, can't stand Poole these days with knobends like Shovlar spouting nonsense all the time. Only have to read the absolute crap he comes out with about football to know he is clueless. Clubs also need to seriously be punished for signing part time riders now as well. Nagel, Klindt and Knudsen in particular have all taken the absolute p""s this season and if the clubs know about these clashes before signing then they should be fined. Considering how little meetings there are these days , its a joke that riders are turning up for only 50 percent of meetings.
  5. My advice would be for the Thomsen top! If they stay up, he is confirmed for 2026 line up!
  6. Interesting , but entertaining meeting . We threatened a couple of times to pull the aggregate score back , but Poole just always had enough to keep their noses in front . Hopefully the Invisible man is back for Friday as we can't seem to get a guest capable of scoring more than 3 .
  7. Yes going to be tricky but MPT has said he will be ok and always risky using guests especially from a local rival. Palovaara was better recently, I think r/r is the only option for Paco considering lack of guests available.
  8. Edinburgh have said that PT is okay and riding on Friday. Just protecting himself and Edinburgh by not doing his fourth ride tonight. A lot will depend if Nagel is riding and if not, who will be replacing him.
  9. Today
  10. No Castagna. Out for season. Palm Toft might be injured, Palovaara off the boil. Edinburgh needed 18 points imo. Think Glasgow will do them.
  11. Well if I go... I'll try to get a top! Thomsen is off, Lebedevs is off... I'm nut walking around with Fajfa on my shoulders! I'm sure at some point my Bewley / Wroclaw, Lambert / Torun, Fricke / GrudziÄ…dz tops will be out of date...
  12. Won’t be Allen now as guesting for Redcar. R/R looking like the only option now unfortunately.
  13. You do realise you'll prob still do enough to win the league, right? Maybe change the 'tigers' part of the name as seems to be a bit unlucky atm (maybe Cami was onto something, just not in the way he meant!).
  14. 100%. You know he’s scoring double figures on Friday night. Guests have been crazy this season. Jeppesen was risking it all for Poole tonight, even with nothing left to play for, yet we’ve had MPT, Klindt, Bowes, etc. not try a leg for us.
  15. Cami Brown is not the Manager to take us forward, have said this for years. What is it the Management see in MAX PERRY, Cannot beat opposite Reserves, should have been replaced when league started. Will Cairns ,paid 11 tonight ,won it for the Pirates.Again we had a Crap guest.
  16. 😄. It was an odd choice of guest wasn't it? I'm sure he'll have his gating gloves on this Friday and come in with double figures. Depending on the guest choice i'd be tempted to hide him at no. 2 tbh!
  17. And yet with a depleted team, you’ve come to the home of the league phase winners and done the business. There’s something in the water in Dorset and I wouldn’t mind some of it at Ashfield.
  18. More Interesting who signs him up for next season. More interesting who signs him up for next season.🤔
  19. Kerr has turned out a poor signing too,but credit to Poole they are hanging in there.
  20. Ifs and buts, I’m afraid. Using your train of thought, if Lawson was available and Kerr hadn’t crashed, then Poole would have secured progress even earlier, based on their June scores at Ashfield. Poole have a sporting legend as a manager who spoke thoughtfully tonight. We’ve got a manager who had the audacity to suggest we suffered bad luck tonight and suggest MPT tried.
  21. Totally agree, Starke has had the odd half decent meeting but generally poor, only beat Perry tonight, talks well rides poorly, I said earlier in the season maybe we should keep Ritchings, I was joking at the time but at least he would have tried, Starke just doesnt seem to put any effort in. We cannot blame Kerr tonight, very unlucky, he has been much better lately, hope he is ok, we will need him especially at Redcar.
  22. Nagel would have scored more than 3+1 so aside from any other mentality nonsense if he rode tonight we would have likely of had enough to bridge the aggregate gap. Really disappointing that he did not turn up.
  23. And people on here have been critical of my moaning about him and Kerr (to a lesser extent). Mobile chicane with nothing left to give. Should have retired a few seasons ago but guess it’s in his blood. A terrible choice for a team spot sorry to say.
  24. Whilst the result went against the Tigers it was another night of entertaining racing at Ashfield for the fans.
