  1. Past hour
  2. If level on aggregate, neither team gets the bonus point? 2 x 20 points home wins would still give an exciting climax with both teams chasing the bonus point. Then even if one team, can't gain the extra point, a 5-1 could prevent the opposition gaining it?
  3. Dan is an excellent choice of guest and certainly changes some perceptions of how competitive Plymouth will be here. Darryl will obviously be out to prove a point here and put himself in the shop window for the rest of the season and beyond. It's going to be an interesting week with these two going head to head.
  4. Surprised Dan took the booking considering really.
  5. So it seems Plymouth are wanting a strong replacement at number 1 because Klindt won't be considered "withholding his services" as he's racing in Denmark. How can they be allowed to pick a weak guest to stop him getting a ban one match (when he should be there), but a strong guest the next one as he's got a legitimate excuse not to be there. I'd like the BSPL to grow a backbone & say - nope, you can have a 75% guest for any matches he misses for the rest of the season. The logic being Plymouth are happy to use 75% guests when it suits them. Probably not in the rules, but when has that ever stopped Speedway's officialdom lol!
  6. Marcin Nowak? Or perhaps a new rider to Britain? 🤔
  7. Simple If tied after heat 15, Then its Rock Paper Scissors to decide ......
  8. Redcar's media updates have been really poor this season.
  9. Now showing Dan Thompson at 1 and Darryl Ritchings in place of Bowtelll
  10. Knudsen elsewhere again. Hook is Guesting. R/R for Jenkins. Flint for Riss for Redcar
  11. This will sound daft after last night but a superheat the vast majority of the time will favour the home team thus making the away teams riders get nothing for their efforts all night Especially worse on an aggregate score … for example Ipswich could beat Belle Vue by 20 in the home leg…. Then lose by 20 in the away leg yet the ‘superheat’ is held only at one track where the second leg is and huge home advantage … this is not a pop at Belle Vue because the first leg could be at Belle Vue and then Ipswich get a superheat at Foxhall where Doyle and Emil are clear favourites in the second leg 90-90 over 30 heats and yet one race decides on who goes to the final at the HOME teams track feels wrong I don’t know the answer … you could say race wins but that would stop team riding Maybe match races by this I mean 7 more heats 1v1 against your opposing number and one team would get 4 wins I don’t know I read what I wrote and that seems silly a bit lol Anyone think of any ideas
  12. Today
  13. Redcar rumoured to be bringing in a Polish rider before deadline
  14. once again very little news coming from this meeting, especially the bears side, will now watch on BSN rather than travel down.
  15. Surely he was sacked ??. Or was he given a pat on the back
  16. As an Ipswich fan I want us to win absolutely The superheat last night was a good race and whatever team you support it was a masterclass from Doyle However with a speedway head on …. Neither team deserved to lose … a draw is fine
  17. Hope comets have sorted there team out, can't afford to lose anymore bonus points
  18. Don`t care about play offs, don`t care about Championships, or winning, trophies, don`t care about how crap the track was and is, don`t care about how many times we have to watch the tractor going round and round and around doing absolutely nothing. Its about one thing for me and one thing only. Free car parking.🤣 Nothing else matters.
  19. Thanks S. Have kept thinking Zischke will improve as the season has gone on but it hasn't really happened. As we are in touch of the playoffs both reserves will have to up their game if BV are to have any chance of retaining the League title. Enjoyed watching Workington last year (on BSN) and had high hopes for both Zischke and Voulas but both riders don't seem to have moved forward.
  20. Some Ipswich fans were definite in predicting they would have won the title last season without the injuries, as i always said nothing in sport is nailed on, bit like calling this seasons title the vulture cup as Woffy would have given Sheffield the scoring power at home to beat any other side over 2 legs 😉
