This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Kevin Long was there last night, working for Rerun Videos - I'm guessing he was doing interviews for the live stream? The "new" presenter is Stephen Foster, who has done it before when Long was unavailable. There was a big collective sigh when he was announced for 2026 - a great bloke, hugely experienced local radio presenter, but most definitely not a sports event announcer. At least Mike Western's fluent Swedish gave us the correct pronunciation of Hellstrom-Bangs - it really is an amazing language 🙂
  3. Today
  4. Bewley 8.64 rowe 5.22 cook 6.39 kildemand 5.28 musielak 6.63 bangs 4.50 Edwards
  5. Haha refs warn all riders at Poole I can promise you.
  6. Going to be a very tough meeting for the comets, who haven't had a meeting yet and haven't even had press and practice it will be the first time some of the riders will meet there team mates,so not a good start to the speedway season so far,Redcar look to have a real good side put together from 1 to 7 they will take some beating, this will be an easy win for Redcar they have had 3 meetings and comets have none,so ya can tell which way this is going to go,I just hope the comets get some good practice in ready for the league starting
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if Poole win, Zack Cook loves the ewr, Lawson and Kerr always score good points too. Looking foward to seeing Rushen, big future in the sport if he stays on the bike. I think it was always the plan that Scunny would make a change when Pickering's new average came in. With 1.66 points to use, a few will be riding to keep their team place.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Woeful. Kevin is a MASSIVE miss and every effort should be made to try and persuade him to return.
  10. There’s a time and a place. I’m not sure the potential demise of Oxford is the thread to be having ‘lots of fun’ on. It’s in pretty bad taste if you ask me.
  11. Garbage, 1 out of 2 for year.
  12. The fact it's Knock-out, plus the 32 point lead makes it a practice session. Scorpions have to do better than last night. How anyone could pick such an unbalanced, weak team is beyond belief. MPT is a prime example, Starke would have given better value.
  13. Nothing against the bloke personally as I don't know him,,, but his voice is just not what's needed for a presenter of an exciting sport. It's not his fault as that's his voice,,, but it's like you say, monotone,, perfect for sleep stories
  14. Seriously considering not attending EWR this season as the team built is very weak and difficult to get up enthusiasm for the journey from Hull.
  15. I said this in February. The prospect of a short season was always on the cards with such a weak team. Attendance on Friday will obviously be well down too.
  16. Dan Bewley 8.64 Josh Pickering 7.76 Richard Lawson 6.83 Peter Kildemand 5.28 Anders Rowe 5.22 Jye Etheridge 3.00 Jason Edwards (RS) Total 36.73
  17. Track was awful tonight Our track has never produced great racing but to prepare it the way the did was appalling … we was covered in dust on bend 2 from about heat 3 and couldn’t see some races properly Great to get the win and to see certain riders go well ….imagine the uproar if King only scored 3 yet Scott gets away with it lol Edwards was on fire and just needed to get Tom going …. PHB had bags of potential Fricke is just a class act and Harris provided entertainment but the reserves as talented as they are will struggle against seasoned campaigners The other gripe was the presentation …. Kevin Long was probably the best presenter in the whole league for a long time so whoever replaced him would have huge shoes to fill …. But the guy on the mic was awful …. bland and monotone … generated zero interaction with the fans …no ‘give us a w’…. mispronouncing riders names…. I know we have lost 2 entertaining riders in Doyle and Emil but this guy on the mic seriously needs to be changed
  18. Shame isn’t the right word, a blue groove after 4 heats is an utter disgrace of track prep. This league never learns does it
  19. Was already starting to get a blue groove after heat 4,,which was a shame,, the wind defo played its part,, but when you start with a slick bald track, it's only gonna get worse very quickly. Hopefully once the weather is more consistent they can build the dirt up a bit
  20. Not able to attend tonight but good to see it went well for the Witches, great night for Edwards and a solid all round display for the rest really. Always a concern to hear worries for KL on meeting no 1 as been there a few times. Intrigued to hear about the big screen, also what was he presentation like without Kevin etc? Expect to be there for the 23rd match v the new boys!
  21. Wroclaw Sparta meeting is live on You Tube tomorrow night.
  22. Hardly pumped. Despite having Fricke, they've got a similar problem to Ipswich in that they need others to be consistent. Castagna was frustratingly poor - and then popped out on the very dry surface to take a win, when Nicholls and Hellstrom-Bangs must have fancied their chances. As with any match: same riders, different night = different result.
  23. Normally yoyo's go up and down, or is it down and up? not back and forward.
  24. Rushen wasn't too far off the pace for a rider of his age with his Limited experience, and Scott looked decent in most races too, it was encouraging maybe wait until the half way point to judge. Overall very cold, a few entertaining moments most of the crowd will go home happy with a win
  25. It was pretty dry in heat one,, so was already onto a loser with the track, and from what I saw was only watered once during the meeting, although there was a lot of chatting with friends during breaks, so you may be right.
