Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Thursday April 9th 7.30pm KOC
marko replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I’ve decided to sub to BSN this season after a year out, going to the celebration of speedway renewed my passion for the sport, living in Maldon, Ipswich Isn’t a million miles away and I keep saying to myself I must pop over there sometime but I can’t face the A12 and the big queues to get out afterwards. So I may well buy the stream, as being ex Lakeside Richard and Jason are still my riders in a manner of speaking and I have always liked Musielak style of riding. As others have said, streaming is great for those who were never likely to be their anyway. -

OK granted nobody was interested in this topic last time I posted it, but here goes with a second take. So I've seen a couple of posts on the forum where other people have also stated a preference for retaining Kyle. My question is bearing in mind that he was signed on as a 28day injury replacement, if he continues to ride as he has so far this season he will increases his GSA, would that be a problem if the Fords wanted to make it permanent after the 28 days are up?

Wouldn’t mind ringing that bell😂

Nothing wrong with Godfrey and Chapman running their own teams, it’s running the sport where the problems start
-
Or it could be that Ben barker isn’t the only one not happy about this situation and a couple of those Ipswich riders happen to be in the same championship team as barker but whatever it is Ipswich have taken a positive step to resolve it

Nothing will phase him. He’s got quite a layback nature -

Cheers for that Iain

"Hi Boss, it's only me, have you seen the Ipswich press release? Are you going to pay for that extra insurance like their Boss is doing?"... "Boss? Boss? Can you hear me Boss? Boss?"... "Must be a bad signal where he is"..

Well said. Enough is enough. Their priorities lie with stock cars.

Chapman/Godfrey time to go. We’re forever going to be stuck in this rut of complete rot while these old hands still have an active control. No disrespect to them btw!! They’ve all done their bit and put money in, but we HAVE to move on for the good of this sport in this country. We’re at a crossroads and it’s time to be ruthless.

Crikey. I wondered why the “official” British Speedway social media uploaded all the other Premiership clubs’ press and practice activity and excluded Ipswich. Now we know why 😂 Good luck Mayfield, you’ll bloody well need it!! Isn’t this refreshing though? Out with the old, in with the new!

I actually thought Simon Lambert looked fairly decent, good to see him riding with confidence again -
Looks like this fella has decided to do things "properly".... It won't go down well.....

Should have the upper hand in the Top 5 but Glasgows reserves could be key, Hagon should be the strongest on Show and Hodder has had good races at Edinburgh in the past. I know was only practice but Cluff seemed to struggle to get round the place so leaves a lot of pressure on Yong Jordy to score some points. If one of the top 5 aren’t riding to their capabilities Glasgow could nick it. Never a huge fan of coming up against the old enemy without having a home match under our belts.

I see Ipswich at their own expense has put rider insurance in place, it's been a good start to the new ownership what with the streaming aswell. Be interesting if they do anything different during a meeting to keep the fans involved. .
