JD said at the presentation night Fraser had missed some weekend Comets meetings to ride in Poland and wasn’t getting paid. The whole situation all seems very strange, James said in a trackside interview at the start of the season Fraser was a very different character to the rest of the Aussies in the team. Did wonder what was meant by that at the time.

The lack of supporters in the stadium will do nothing to raise any interest in the competition and frankly putting this on live t v is an embarrassment. Anyone who is foolish enough to have paid TNT or whoever it is who expects to be paid for that live performance will be well disappointed. The new promotional team who have taken over from WBD have a lot to do to generate a modicum of interest let alone achieve a level of interest that provides a return on the investment.

They thought they would get a big crowd. Problem is the FIM (or whoever) have blunted the competitive edge of these world championships to the point of making them meaningless.

I had forgotten it was son week.. turned on to see timo lahti riding for Sweden... wtf, he is Finnish and rode in individuals and world team events for Finland.. surely you can't swap and change..

All that ‘racing’ when it was always obvious GB and Sweden would be top 2 and Germany and Latvia would be 3 & 4. Could have just had this one off race.
