Best apprentice ive had 💪
-
Allen instead of palmsoft and hunt for another rider for mountain’s replacement , better team than last year imb
-
Redcar really are the most clicky club in the league really old pals act look after your mates.
-
He grew another helmet size this year towards the end, do him good to move on for experience
-
I can think of 3 possible reasons: 1 Lawson knew Cairns wasn't going to be invited back so it worked for Poole 2 Lawson was just looking after himself and his average and it just happened to affect Cairns 3 He wasn't, Cairns was just beating him It held Bewley back for one season whilst he adjusted. Could be the same for Cairns hence Poole letting him go?
-
That was my point.
-
Jake Allen has posted on Facebook theat Redcar don't want hime next season
-
Just seen that Jake Allen is not wanted by Redcar next season, could be a good solid signing for comets along with batch and antti 🤔
-
Forget Mauger and Briggs; the Commonwealth riders were considered British. However, Ronnie Moore was Australian, Bob Andrews was English, and Graham Warren was born in Fiji, I believe...
-
Think Redcar have got rid of the wrong rider I feel Edwards should have gone and gone with a top 4 of Wright King Allen Scott Jake Allen much more consistent than Edwards imo.
- Today
-
Get that, also he has had a massive teen growth spurt, which may hinder him on a speedway bike
-
Righto boss 😜
-
To be honest I thought Lawson was poor at times last season, nothing to do with him letting Cairns win races. I think both their averages are accurate, not higher or lower than they should be.
-
That is not correct, highest at 1 yes, then the 2 lowest at reserve. The rest is down to the team manager.
-
Have him back no probs
-
Yes it is if they are both in the same team, if not makes Lawson better value and cairns less value, so that begs the question why did Lawson do it?
-
Marksman will have a lineup in mind for 2027. Wait to hear what it is and if it will bring home the bacon
-
King has a lot to do again , same again kept the wrong rider , not a big change at all, hope this isn’t it
-
Been the rule for a long time that highest averaged rider has to ride at number 1 and lowest two at 6 and 7, if Berwick have built there team more solid throughout then that’s their decision.
-
Masters and Brennan should improve their aves imo

dont you think it should be stopped though ?
-
Surely that’s nothing lost? Lawson gains because a lower average coupled with his ability makes him a more desirable rider.

I know in FIM U21 events riders can only represent the country that provides them with a passport. Which is why at Rye House a few years back Ricky Wells wanted to race as an American but held a New Zealand passport & was told he must race as a New Zealand rider. But riders racing for other nations has been going on for years, Ivan Mauger & Barry Briggs both from New Zealand rode for Great Britain. Mark Loram was born in Malta. John Cook from USA was Swedish Rune Holta a Norwegian represents Poland Timo Lahti once a Finn is now Swedish & of course Artem Laguta & Emil Sayfutinov SoN champions for Russia are now Polish & the list can go on
