Pleased for Jordan Jenkins last night basically won us the match. Had we not signed him and went down guest route only 2 available were Cluff & Loftus -
Steve, there isn’t another sport in this country demonstrating the visible, year-on-year decline as British speedway. At the turn of the century, there were 23 professional clubs in the UK. There are now 15, one of which has just been manufactured and several which are struggling to keep the lights on. For you to imply that theirs is profitability in speedway is complete and utter delusion. For you to also suggest that entertaining speedway is up for interpretation simply means this discussion is a waste of time.

Batch has been a great reliable team member and skipper, just wish he and all the riders would come round and take the plaudits more, they can seem unnecessarily detached at times which isn't good for rider fan interaction. There was some improvement in this last season but it has slipped back. -

Been there done that when we were part of the team at Derwent park thanks. -
Yeah , comes down to such incidents in tight matches. Klindt getting some stick, whether deserved or not it is a team sport and the best team usually wins. In the home leg the combined points from the bears 2,3,4,& 5 (14) was only one more than Nikolai's score. Completely agree he can be brilliant or underwhelming which is not what you want from your No1 where consistency is required .

Klindt, who else could it be. The bloke is the most frustrating rider to have in your team. Whoever he’s rode for I’ve never known a rider to be so unpredictable as him, he was awful at Kings Lynn with his inconsistent scoring and is just as bad for Northampton and Redcar. You just can’t rely on the bloke for points when you need him , so he takes the title of Mr irritating. Wouldn’t you agree?

Thanks Robin88 Track was good but I think we got caught out a little with the pre-meeting watering. Showers were in the forecast in the morning but these never really materialised. We had had a good deal of natural watering during the week so to get dust so early was a surprise, we moved to the leeward side of the stadium following heat 3 so not sure how effective subsequent watering was. Agree about Masters and Kennett. Tate's achilles heal continues to be his gating but watching him wind it up from behind is great entertainment. Max is a combative rider a trait he displayed in his earlier years in the NDL for Leicester Lion Cubs. He was on the wrong end of some rough treatment from Anders Rowe in heat 12, his left leg somehow got attached to Rowe's bike which then took him for a ride across the track, just pleased the leg didn't get twisted otherwise it could well have resulted in injury. Showed his mettle when he was back out in heat 14 as a reserve switch and delivered the 4-2 with Tate. Re Jonas, heat 6, I don't think anyone saw that coming, I for one thought Jonas would have reeled in Mitch and Dayle Wood . In heat 13 I thought he should have switched to the outside line but continued to follow Batch round the inside. Showed what he is capable of in heat 15 but Masters never stopped hunting him down and like you say may well have had him with another lap. -

Thought the racing was good again yesterday, however, when will lawson hook that wonder wheel up and grade with that instead of the blade!! It would make the racing even better. -
Just watched the incident on Dan's (excellent) Vlog and it was an incredibly bad decision... Laughable, (if you weren't Dan),... Not a clue how any ref could exclude the rider in front, leading by some distance, when another rider behind falls off by themselves... It would be like excluding Fricke for Zmarzlik falling off in the GP's!!! Don't even think Specsavers would help... And he supposedly watched the replay too?...

He done well, but speedway is toe-to-toe and moments matter. Heat seven was the turning point last night and we needed more from Flint. Similar to last season in the play-off final when Kerr passed Dan Thompson in heat 11 or 12 (I can’t remember). Those are the fine lines that win meetings. There are fifteen opportunities to win a speedway match, but there are isolated moments in which champions elects deliver.
