https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/news/people/peterborough-city-council-urged-to-rethink-decisions-for-1500-homes-and-leisure-development-of-showground-5217002 AI Generated content. Check important info as it can make mistakes: **What does a “pre-action protocol letter” mean?** The article mentions that solicitors for Forever Panthers have submitted a *pre-action protocol letter* to the council — and that’s actually quite a big deal. It’s the formal legal warning shot before taking a council to court through judicial review. It doesn’t mean the case has started yet, but it puts Peterborough City Council on notice that their decision (likely the approval of the 650-home plan or the way the call-in was handled) may be unlawful. The letter gives the council a short window — usually two weeks — to respond, explain themselves, or fix the problem. If not, the group can then ask the High Court to intervene. It’s about whether the decision-making process was legal and fair, not just whether the outcome was unpopular. In short: the legal wheels are turning now, and the pressure is officially on.

It was But you had a chance with heat wins in ht 9, 10,13, 14, and 15,but the heat winners had no back up, from there partner. They all ran lasts. So you could of made it very close by the end. -

Unexpected win today against the league leaders. Thought 44-46 but was delighted to be wrong. Some cracking close races with every point being scrapped for, which is how it should be. It takes two teams to make an entertaining meeting and Poole played their part so thank you. It was the Comets fantastic start that ultimately proved too much to overcome on this occasion which was nice after being put to the sword at home twice last season by the Pirates. Congrats to the mechanics, not one mechanical failure during the meeting. Thank you to members of the wider Speedway fraternity who turned up to show their support for the Comets, it was much appreciated. Let's hope we can get the message to more local people to give it a go while trying to improve the quality of entertainment on offer during the 2hours or so of the meeting. It was great to see the riders coming round today almost without exception when winning races. Congrats to the Comets on a solid team performance without exception- brill ! That performance was just reward for Andrew Bain who has had a tumultuous couple of weeks, thank you. -

You think it's bad on here, you should see it on X 👀🙈 😁 Really will depend on Bowes/Jye/ Hook combination as the others can ride Poole all right. Generally anything over 10 points can be hard to pull back as Worky can just sit on 3-3s if needed. -

The sport is riddled with guestfest, after guestfest anyway... So, just run the guestfest on the best night for the home team to deliver their best crowd... Just 100 extra could be a major difference given the pi$$ poor numbers at most tracks... Home promoters are happy now for an away team to turn up with four guests and a RR facility.... So, deliver such nonsense on the best night you can to deliver your best crowd.. The happy clappers who still take it seriously (even when they only have two riders from their own team out on track), will definitely be there anyway... And, those many hundreds at each track who don't take it too seriously, but just like watching the racing, will go more often if not tied down to race nights that they cannot attend.. -

im sure 99.9 % of people expected a poole dominant win but it wasnt ive always a lot of respect for poole in some ways always build a good team however some poole fans really let there team down very poor in defeat away defeat by a home side that had a lot to ride for and there wanting riders sacked even poole cant win them all -

If it goes ahead, it's just yet another example of promoters not taking it too seriously... But, to be fair to them... We know that already though don't we..? Can't blame them if people still turn up and take it seriously.... Why change? I wouldn't... -
