  1. Past hour
  2. It’s YOU who has the rose tinted glasses on Buttons. Not only was there no contact, it wasn’t even close! I probably had the best view in the house for this incident. Up in the VIP box between first and second bend thanks to Arch. Fact is, Dan passed Kerr up the inside going up the back straight. That then took him wide around bends three and four. Kerr then came steaming down the inside of Dan down the home straight, Dan saw him coming through, panicked and laid it down. I hope this heat gets replayed via rerun so everyone can see. If I’ve got it wrong, I’ll hold my hands up. Pretty sure I haven’t though.
  3. Killeen rode well, wouldn't have taken him out but I was a touch surprised Palovaara got a 4th ride which should have gone to Killeen (Mitch was already in ht 14). An astute tactician would have put Mitch in ht 12 for Killeen as well. As it turns out I doubt it would have made any difference. The other questionable decision was ceding gate choice to the Aces for ht 15 [gate 4 scored just 9 pts all night]
  4. you sound like you are in the school playground ! hopefully promoters will be more mature about it all than you
  5. The expected away win. Oxford really are awful.
  6. If Rob came in how on his 7.81 average he finished 2023 (2019) with, he would fit perfectly for Cook using the full 40.0 limit…
  7. Anyone who was there would have seen Chris Louis standing over bends one and two before two breaks in the match and then speak to the tractor driver to explain what is needed. I just think some of our riders were way off the pace and we can say it’s the track or the call in heat 14 but end of the day they’ve done us multiple times this season so let’s just admit we’re are not what we once thought we were a few months back. Jenkins wouldn’t have got many more than Edwards so it’s just a very very very poor home performance and the biggest joke it was Hawkins stated on Monday, we have bigger fish to fry on Thursday… that one aged well didn’t it. First time this season I’ve came away from Foxhall genuinely P!ssed off with majority of the team. All these 60-30 wins and you can’t beat your local rival when it matters.
  8. Well done the Stars on that result. Congratulations. the Witches have more pressing issues all firing for September. I can’t see past them for the aggregate win over any team in the top 4. Some of them had a proper wobble tonight. save it till September.
  9. When have they ever done that? Prem want to stick to their boring league then that's up to them. But just try not to drag the Championship down with them.
  10. Can’t see it being quite yet, if at all… I can see Lewi guesting again for Ben in the cup final first leg at the AFA (as Sheffield aren’t riding that night)
  11. On what night would this one big league run? Because I for one would not be attending meetings on any other night than a Saturday night
  12. Said KL were one to keep an eye on before a wheel was turned. Started slow but they're hitting a good run of form now, Great chance of winning the Final imo.
  13. Don't think tonight was a shock at all, Ipswich haven't been good for a couple of weeks now. Brennan hasn't morphed into the signing that I thought he was going to be, Riding too much perhaps? But he's gone backwards in a big way this year after improving year on year.
  14. I would have put money on the track being prepped liked last week and lost the lot.
  15. Kerr steamed inside Dan, didn't appear to be contact and there was still room for Dan to turn.. brave call from the ref, but I think the correct one Thought Rob had dropped a rare clanger as I'd have given Luke his 3rd ride in heat 13 to allow Nicolai in heat 14 and more chance of points. As it turns out, it all worked out in the end, nice to put one over the witches for a change... one happy lynn supporter! Good all round team effort. Makes you wonder what could have been with 2 unlucky home defeats earlier in the season and at least 2 if not 3 away matches where we could have won but for our usual injury curse - would have been well in the mix for the playoffs
  16. Today
  17. Agree with much of what has been said. I couldn't see whether there was contact or not either in heat 14 but I do think the wrong rider was excluded. Having said that, however, it should never have got to the point that the result of that race was so crucial. It's hard to believe that this Ipswich team is the one that started the season so well and touted as almost unbeatable. Jason, Emil and, to a lesser extent, Danny, carried the team tonight. As for the rest... And what was all that nonsense before heat 13 about? How is it that a team manager and a referee don't know the rules regarding the no. 7? Unbelievable!
  18. What concerns me is okay the wheels are wobbling a bit,, but more than anything, why when we need to win, why do we never seem to prep the track for our benefit,,
  19. Is Jacob Hook guesting (at No 3 !!) for Plymouth at Edinburgh on Friday ?
  20. If only, the final is only 11 days away.Couldn’t see them getting Lambert over quite so early. If they did we could have a sniff of a chance.
  21. Berwick have about 7.46 to replace Hume although in a perfect world Hagon would be at reserve
