Wild Cards for 2027
LagutaRacingFan replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Grigorg Laguta hasn't raced for a few years. He is well rested and ready to ride. Freddie has a lot of wear and tear on his body. -
Riders what you liked in your team but not so much when they left
False dawn replied to rsarjant's topic in Years Gone By
If any fan only likes the riders who ride for their team these days, they'll end up liking no one in very short order. Very few riders stay long enough to build up any sort of allegiance. The exceptions are notable but sadly few and far between. - Today

Poole face a hell of a job having to lose 4.98 from this seasons team assuming it stays at 40 point limit. Many assume Zach will drop Champ, but Masters seems to accomodate Prem/Champ & POL for some years. Bailey would have been a great fit as worth well above 5 point av. Thought from noises made he wanted to do UK this year unless only Prem oranother UK Champ not on a Wednesday. Replacing Cook or Lawson and possibly Cairns from comments he indicated due to points limit is going to be tough but at least Poole seem to have that habit of rebuilding to a Championship Title contending level.

Riders what you liked in your team but not so much when they left
SPEEDY69 replied to rsarjant's topic in Years Gone By
I liked both of them but they could be a bit forceful up the inside. Eriksen did well in a world team cup I seem to remember and also remember him riding a big motocross/road bike at the end of season meeting all around the centre green - his van was also difficult to forget 😁 -

@racers and royals Thank you 🥳 -
To all the fools on here saying "Give him another chance", like he hasn't had more than enough already and clearly still hasn't leant his lesson... If it was your grandparent/relation that he had held at knifepoint in their own home, demanding bank cards to then wipe out their bank account...you wouldn't be defending him then would you?!!! It shouldn't matter whether it was your own relation or somebody else's, he is a vile scumbag who carried out the above crime...and still has a flagrant lack of respect for the law given his recent recalls to prison for breaching his licence. If he really wanted to change, that wouldn't have happened would it? His interview in Speedway Star earlier this year summed him up...crocodile tears and full of bullsh*t with no remorse, him lying about what he did the best example of that. If you want to pay his wages, go ahead...but when he lets your team down during the season because he is inside again, you asked for it. No whinging or whining...just wait for when he is released again and you can give him 'another chance'.

Hopefully Jack is fit to ride. Is this not a final? Why would you use someone who is not the best replacement you can get so you can class someone else as one of the "family". I will be in Tenerife hoping for a Berwick win with the regular Berwick team or the strongest team they can put out (no sentiments in a final).

I quite enjoyed that yesterday 😀
