  1. Past hour
  2. I know people who were going to attend then found the price increase and stayed at home to watch on tv, i wonder how many others did? It appears the increase in price actually cost them money.
  3. I use metcheck for forecasts, it has it raining on Teesside from 1pm until 9pm.
  4. Several reasons why if you think about it. The SGP 3 has 2 semi’s and a final and to hold it at Vojens is just not feasible as it’s a main track meeting, whereas SGP 4 is on the mini training track. 2 qualifying sessions and 2 meetings is more than sufficient on the main track.
  5. One thing is certain, dry or not, it was be cold at 14 degrees and when that sun drops over the trees it feels so much colder even on a nice summers day!
  6. Today
  7. There is lots of available land around Wolverhampton but it costs money and lots of it and that’s what we don’t have
  8. Now the suns out that chocolate hat is liable to melt.
  9. here we go " should have" - yes I agree. But they didn't .... and allowed the guest facility to stand pre meeting. That "should" have been the end of it ...... not changing the decision post hoc . They are now open to challenge over the manner in which Rushen's points have just simply been been deducted. The simplistic solution really doesnt stand scrutiny. In cases in a meeting where a winning rider is excluded "post hoc" for say losing a silencer , the following rider is awarded the 3 point win etc etc. In the last heat where Rushen lapped a rider , the lapped rider should have his points reinstated. All gets very messy. The actions of the scb bring the sport into disrepute.
  10. sunny and a strong breeze should help to dry out any surface water. could make for good racing
  11. Any reason why - on the self-titled "VOJENS' WEEKEND OF CHAMPIONS" - we're going to crown the winners of SGP/SGP2/SGP4...but not SGP3 (which was done in Prague instead)?
  12. Gunna be closer than people think I believe, we SHOULD have enough in the tank but whether we put that to practise is anyone’s guess… the last 24 meetings come down to this so I hope we have enough in front of a home crowd to win!
  13. Thunderstorms and heavy rain forecast for the Middlesbrough area on Sunday. Redcar should make the sensible decision and call it off now.
  14. Just had one of those passing heavy showers in Herne Bay . Belle Vue have more than an evens chance if the track is too wet as it will upset the home side .
  15. The weather isn't looking good for Sunday so the meeting might not be on anyway.
  16. They weren’t small showers though, suns out now so hopefully it drys out
  17. The weather wont be an issue people stop stressing 😂 last small showers over foxhall is due for 10 mins at 18:40
  18. In Ipswich now suns out but it has been heavy showers any sky is Black over pavels mothers with a fabulous rainbow
  19. 6 miles north of Ipswich - Brief shower 15 minutes ago, sunshine is returning.
  20. Obviously there's two sides to every story, but if what Cami has said is 100% true, then he has every right to say what he did. He's not even repeating himself. The first report was a complaint about (some) Poole fans. The most recent is a complaint about the Poole management's reaction after he called out their fans actions. In general I can't understand any "fan" cheering a fallen rider, even more distasteful if they wish injury or worse on the rider.
  21. Considering Neil and the Poole team were closer to the fans, I might take Middlos stance instead.
  22. As a Poole fan and who went to the meeting. I sat in the big stand and didn't hearing anything, but that didn't mean this didn't happen, if it did then yes it needs to be dealt with by the club, as people shouting that are not welcome in our sport, this isn't football. We have young family's attending and they don't need be exposed to this. But this needs to be dealt with behind closed doors and not aired in public now after a number of press releases from Glasgow, it only adds to the fire of some and it will cause incitement. Speedway is struggling as it is and does not need further bad press in my opinion! Need to draw a line under this now and the club deal with any supporters caught will be thrown out the stadium going forward. Lets make one thing clear this isn't the Poole club I have supported for 35 years! we welcome all traveling fans to Wimborne Road!
