  1. Past hour
  2. It’s no disgrace to not be able to ride a farmers field
  3. Aces would have won by 30 if Brennan and King weren’t riding
  4. Friday’s matches line-ups Czestochowa v Torun start time 5pm UK time. Czestochowa 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Torun 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Lublin v Zielona Gora start time 7.30pm UK time. Lublin 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 Zielona Gora 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  5. Fricke said after the meeting that it's s big change for him and he's getting used to things, I remember him making a slow start at Leicester a couple of years ago so I have no concerns, he'll be fine. Kvech has been excellent at the AFA since his very first meeting but is struggling to find the set up on what is at the moment an unusually slick Lynn track, he'll be fine too. The reserves were much better last night and I expect them to carry on in that vein, they both have so much potential.
  6. All that dirt must weigh the bike down... So that's why he struggles at the NSS....
  7. We did better than I expected …..said before Nicholls wouldn’t score and Lawson and Musielek struggle there so to keep it to 12 was pretty good We could get the bonus I’m sure Bewley and Kurtz will keep it close…. The other Belle Vue boys can’t ride Foxhall
  8. No wonder lawson was poor turning up with bikes not clean. Not very professional
  9. To be fair, the Aces followers do make up a large portion of the GP crowds, easily the largest single contingent... As you would imagine given the locality... Therefore I can see why crowds drop, (like last year), in the weeks leading up to the meetings, given the cost.. You also have people like myself, and nine others, who will attend the GP's but are not regular visitors to the NSS, due to, as you say, not having any real engagement for UK Speedway meetings that have little importance.. There are many more "Followers" than regular "Fans", like at most tracks, with the GP's bringing them out... The key for the UK version of the sport is to re-engage those "Followers" to become "Fans" again, as it would seriously boost the attendances around the country...
  10. anlas in the uk, they are rubbish apparently but a certain chairman profits off them so riders are forced to use them, not just tyres area problem for new riders coming over but its the type of shale we use over here also, so much different to abroad, all little things like that add up, got to give bangs a few months at least, let him see all the tracks frst and then judge him on his 2nd visits
  11. expect a good 50% of them attending the GP will be local aces fans, for example in March i paid out for GP Tickets, belle vue season ticket and BSN, approx £600 for me, but im lucky i can afford it Many have to pick and choose there meetings now after spending £100 plus pounds on the GP, them tickets are equivalent of 5 race days and will sacrifice the 5 matches for the GP, it happened last year. we had good crowd against sheffield and leicester but that was down to one being a rival and the other being bank holiday. most clubs will also take a big hit when BSN are in town this year, Belle Vue themselves play a part in this though, there is no where near enough effort put in to selling the sport to new people, no advertisement, no banners anywhere, we dont even have anything in the local paper about us
  12. Today
  13. To be fair last season was pretty good, however there were certainly problems with it last night.
  14. I'll have a look on Saturday for the next meeting, so if i use the original app and password your saying the app should still work in theory
  15. That makes no sense. There are far more people at the GPS because they come from across British speedway, and Poland, etc. It's the same story at most tracks - Ipswich had very high attendances for the Cup final and play-off meetings, but a big number of those people aren't attracted as regulars for league racing (although the Witches seem to have a stronger core of regular fans, compared to others). The question for Belle Vue is: the track produces very good racing, yet those who come for the Finals aren't bothered about that same level of on-track entertainment for the humdrum of infrequent league racing ...

  17. Pretty sure he’s on about the type of track suiting his alleged riding style, not his actual record on it!
  18. Yesterday
  19. Agreed, it's not about what I like or you like or any other supporter likes. What songs are appropriate for a live motorsport event?
  20. Does it matter how long it takes to find out what his injuries are ? Let's just hope they are not to serious and he gets well soon.
  21. He has always said his favourite UK track was Kings Lynn if they prepared it right. I hope they get going against the Owlerton Tigers. Fricke had an exceptional season in 2025, new home track for 2026, you need to give him time. Kvech is a bit of an enigma, think Stars need to put Cook at #5, Kvech at #4.
  22. I don't know why they bothered doing that TS, Aces could have used Bewley as a TS with Kurtz the heat before. Zischke would have beaten Lawson & Nicholls. My only thought is that they thought Blödorn needed 4 laps to get dialled in. And isn't that why Belle Vue signed the 'Ninjas'. He saw it once in 2021 FFS. SoN when he was reserve and the other two Swedes got injured.
  23. The track was far too grippy in the first four heats, they graded & watered it again after the riders did there track walk. Plus Aces had gates 1&3 3 times in first four heats, gate two was offering nitro boost starts during that period. Bewley wasn't gating again but his battles with Brennan in heats 13 & 15 were sensational, best I have ever seen Tom ride. King was good for Witches. Edwards did well as Musielsk chipped in. Nicholls, Hellström Bängs and to a slightly lesser extent Lawson were dreadful. Cook was good value after his tapes exclusion, Kildemand can certainly generate some speed around the boards but it doesn't seem to get him anywhere! Good to watch though. Cairns had one good ride when he split the Witches in heat 8, was actually leading for half a lap but was riding to low and King was fast. More to come from Blödorn hopefully, first meeting back from injury. Zischke won heat 2 but that was about it.
  24. Is this the mitas tyre you are talking about? and what's the issue too soft or too firm. Sorry just asking a lay persons question.
  25. The original App is still in use though.Dont see why it doesn’t work for you this season.Strange One.Hope you get it resolved.
  26. Thought Northampton rode well tonight, although with twelve last places they were never realistically in with a shout. The racing was much better than last week although the track is still a bit too slick and dry and the starts need to be grippier as at the moment its too easy for opposing riders to make good starts and clear off, need a little more dirt to give a bit more home advantage. Lynn reserves well worth their combined paid 12 and the middle order were excellent, just need to get Fricke & Kvech going properly now, one win between them way below what they should be and will be producing before long. Both seemed to be chasing the set up tonight. Sheffield next Monday will be a huge test.
  27. I'd have taken that beforehand and it might have been different if Harris hadn't been on fire and Klindt a damp squib! Onto Ipswich, which will be tougher, but looking forward to next week now!
