Signed for Slangerup in Denmark... Wonder if not doing a Thursday track will be in his plans?.. Or maybe Sweden also is???.
-
Not sure what you are on about here what so ever, he was part of the celebrations on final night, received a medal, he was invited to the end of season maugers but politely declined. people say hes going ipswich and if he is then good luck to him, i suspect both dan and belle vue will release statements in due course if this is to be the case, there no need for them at the moment. and if i was a betting man (not a very good one at that), id still place my money on dan not racing in the UK next season

I've got: 1 Kye Thomson 8.23 2 Jonatan Grahn 5.63 3 Paco Castagna © 5.88 4 Victor Palovaara 5.64 5 Justin Sedgmen 6.84 6 Cluff/Manzares 3.65/4.00 7 Jordy Loftus 3.67 39.54/39.89 Might be a bit weak in heats 13/15 but it's solid all the way through and every rider rides Armadale well.
-
If the Monarchs bring back Paco and a 2 pointer it leaves 14.5 for 2 half decent heat leaders. That's not bad team building at all if that's the way the club are going this off-season. 1 Thomson 2 Grahn 3 4 Paco 5 6 Loftus 7 2-pointer.

SGB Championship 2027 Confirmed Signings

Jonathan Green and Jordan Lotus to the Monarks -
I agree and I could be totally wrong. Those regs could actually now be outdated as well so we’ll have to wait and see. The pieces of the jigsaw below the top 3 look tricky to put in place with very few options.

Probably £s and maybe the proposed late start time for worky meaning not getting to an airport gone midnight for a stupid o clock flight to the golden land. But as previously said a Friday home track may work out better for any trips abroad. But saying that Tate has had some brilliant meetings at scunny, so could be a good home track for him. Plus like most jobs locations people want a change after a while 😄

You’re just being naughty again Deano! It’s a shame that BV management seem to have tried to airbrush Dan out of anything to do with the Aces. He’s been a great rider for them, and, although he was unlucky this year with injury, his high average allowed them to bring Doyle in. They’d probably still have won the league with Dan but his absence was well covered. The rumours are that he’s heading south for his PL contract in 2027 and BV should be thanking him for his years of service and not just pretending he doesn’t exist. IMO
-
So, if not location, why has he left?
-
Depends on how much interest in a said rider. Nilsson maybe a GP Rider but he's not GP standard so his demands would have to be realistic as Clubs can easily sign better riders if he's on a 6.00. Got riders like Ellis, Brennan, Masters, D. Thompson etc. all on lower averages to name a few as well as a couple just above 6.00 like Blodorn and Lidsey.
-
Those people who know me will appreciate that I'm not looking at this from a 'Lynn v Ippo' perspective, but its pretty bonkers that he Nilsson can come in on a four and a half. He's Swedish Champion, a qualified GP rider and averaged over seven in his last three British seasons (admittedly a decade or so ago). Definitely a loophole and fair play to whoever gets him if anybody.

I'd have to double check exactly what he done in Europe last season, but I can't imagine he's a 5.00? I'll let someone else figure that bit out because I'm at work 😆 -
Would Brennan be more expensive than flying Nilsson in regularly? His price would’ve gone up also being a GP rider. Not convinced.
-
Using the assessed averages criteria above, Nilsson should be 4.5. I know people will say how can a GP rider be on such a figure, but there is nothing in those regulations that I can see that alters an assessed figure by qualifying for the GP series. Only that a rider riding two consecutive seasons would be assessed at 8, which he hasn’t. His old average has long since expired so he’d definitely be on a re-assessed figure.
-
Unless it's budget related? Imagine a lot of Clubs would've been interested in Tom. Mayfield would've spent a lot on Doyle, Bewley and Cairns.
-
The more I think about it, I wouldn't be comfortable with Kemp as a No.4. 1. J. Doyle 8.62 2. P. Castagna 3.65 3. D. King 7.17 4. K. Nilsson 6.00 5. D. Bewley 8.56 6. W. Cairns 3.00 7. V. Foord (RS) = 37.00
-
Unless he’s on a re-assessed 4.5 that I mentioned before, then he won’t fit. If he’s re-assessed at 6 or over, then it would make no sense to make Brennan surplus to requirements and sign Nilsson instead. If he’s in, then we’ve got him on a ringer average. I’ve also heard Nilsson from a couple of people as well BTW.
-
I don’t actually know but I’ve seen a few times that Rasmus would come in on a 5.0 average.
-
Officials at Foxhall over the weekend apparently surveying the track. Measurements, markings etc. Looking forward to see how this progresses over the winter. Bob Ellis has been track curator for as long as I can remember. I hope he’s not going to just slip away without any acknowledgment from the club. There was a tiny comment at the end of one of the last match reports from Hurry about Bob’s last meeting, but he deserves a proper send off through the official channels for the decades of service he’s given and for very little reward. The likes of Kevin Long got one as did others, Bob should get the same.
-
Wouldn’t expect any less from him. Top Pro.
-
I still cant fathom how he's never ended up at Plymouth

Gino Manzares is looking to ride in Britain again. Could do a job around a smaller track and would be on a 4.00 average.

I see Gino Manzares is looking to come back to Britain. He'd be on a 4.00 average, which the way he's been riding in Sweden I think would be a bargain. Could him and Rasmus Pedersen be the reserves? 1. Nick Morris 7.80 2. Jordan Jenkins 5.05 3. Jye Etheridge 6.32 4. Reid Battye 5.32 5. Drew Kemp 7.14 6. Gino Manzares 4.00 7. Rasmus Pedersen 4.00
