Congratulations Scunthorpe the true champions this year, the fords, middleditch and havelock should get together and hand that trophy to Scunthorpe, the real Poole fans would accept it,who would to be the owner/ manager of a team which just aren’t the winners, the referee should get a horrendously long ban as well

05.1.4 Infield The Infield must be kept clear of objects, except those specifically approved and designated on the Homologation Certificate. Equipment or machinery essential for the meeting must be kept or parked as close to the centre of the infield as possible, and in all cases not less than 10 metres from the inner edge of the track. Collapsible A-Frame or other ‘soft material’ advertising boards can be placed at least 4 metres from the track inner edge. On the track surface clearly marked lines, chalk is acceptable, are required: a) a continuous line to define the inner edge of the track circuit Once his tyre passed the edge he should of been excluded

Truth or another of your rumours lewy 😜

They came out and said there were no debts but financially they didn't know if the staying was viable. There were issues the season before, but this year there was nothing.

Luke Harrison in the harbour masters, could we get an early announcement…
-
You're having a laugh.
-
There weren't any payment issues this year

They can be quite snappy down south.

I remember our former promoter , K. Kay , running our junior teams but he lost heart when Neil Vatcher started to interfere. The juniors , the Cubs , have struggled to put a side out all this season and I’m told Seb Kelly is the only one still using a 125. Seems speedway at every level is on a steep decline.

Shouldn't that be gaters track . -
Lemon took the more measured of the two options, knowing that if Zischke continued his good form then he could have six rides anyway. Otherwise, Lemon was looking at Zischke being forced to take 7 rides, and Cairns 4, with Blödorn having to take the R/R in 12 (with your benefit of hindsight, apart from an excellent gate & go in Heat 5, Blödorn's only other point was ahead of Killeen - and he would have faced Etheridge in 12). It's all about scenarios and options - I thought before the meeting that Lemon had made the correct choice to use a guest, and it was proven to be fairly successful.

Seems very strange as Godfrey has a position in all three parties….promoter of Scunthorpe, BSPL chairman and their liaison officer with the SCB ! On that basis alone why did they put in a protest ? You think Vatcher or someone in the SCB office ( is there anyone else ? ) would have advised him it was a waste of time thus making this press release even more absurd.
-
And all the SCB needs to say is that is the interpretation, because clarity is required where the regulation does not make it clear. I'll bet the regulation is re-written for next year For example: If you cross the road have you crossed it at the point you step off of the kerb or at the point you step up onto the kerb at the other side of the road? Id say the later. Between the two kerbs you are on the road. The speedway regulation says crossed not on Lots of sports have different interpretations that involve lines. There is normally not much ambiguity.
