  1. Past hour
  2. I donโ€™t think you Ipswich fans will have to worry about much, very very solid team if the rumours are true
  3. neither do i, i blame the promoters for bowing down to them. if they did want it to be u21 they should start working towards it by lowering the age limit each year and also developing the u21 so they are of a decent enough standard.
  4. You're at number 8 ๐Ÿ˜œ Several teams in our league and all teams in top league still to name names, but some have end of season doos this weekend so maybe some names announced. But with the AGM being postponed maybe everything is not agreed fully
  5. Higher ups are playing a dangerous game here. Most of these young lads will have their confidence shattered to pieces in a blink of an eye to a point where they may contemplate taking a break from the sport. Haven't thought this one through at all.
  6. Your last comment re soothing egos needs some explaining, as it appears out of context to the rest of your post. Not clear why there are egos at play here?
  7. This statement crosses the line from a plea for support into an incredibly patronising lecture. The tone heavily implies a sense of 'look how great we are, and you should all be grateful to us for saving you from football pitches.' While the hard work of RHAG is respected, it is completely unfair to attack the wider speedway fanbase and claim they 'stand by' and 'accept' the loss of tracks. Implying that fans who sign petitions or submit objections are just sitting on their backsides and contributing to the sport's decline is deeply insulting. Support is earned through community engagement, not by condescending to the very people you are asking for money
  8. I just don't understand why we don't include all U21 riders in this system? Having Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen in the rising star system makes it much stronger.
  9. Steve Irving gonna have us down as favourite's.
  10. Surely nothing is stopping the UK doing this?... And if there is... They didn't think this through very well. Just by coming on here you could see how many lads were moving out of the RS scheme, so, surely, "someone" should have considered who were likely to replace them?... The foreign U21 riders better be good!!! (But I have my doubts as to their level too given how many of the best ones ride in Sweden and Denmark)..
  11. There looked to be a good size crowd in Argentina for the FIM/Latin American championship but as predicted very few of the riders from the European rounds. Maybe the results might encourage some of the Argentinians to venture into Europe to contest the full series in 2027 & beyond. I have to say that the safety ellament at an FIM event looked very poor with no air fence, scaffold erections next to the fence & people hanging over the fence as there appeared to be no 2M safety zone in place had this been on a European circuit I really don't think it would have started. I also notice that some of the local riders were using full face crash helmets rather than the off road & goggles type that we are expecting to see
  12. tbf, i dont blame poland, sadly its just we just dont have any u21 riders who are capable as of yet, for me the best bet is to change the scheme to u24 english riders, like it was previously,
  13. Some team news is well overdue for us!
  14. Today
  15. insane to be honest, you can just about scrape together an ok six out of that list but god knows what happens if a couple get injured. why have they bowed down to Poland and allowed this?
  16. Whoever gets Jody Scott gets a significant advantage then! Not even championship reserves
  17. This season is very much, completely different... As all the teams have much longer to pick from pretty much exactly the same riders.. Meaning it will be the best season, ever, ever, ever..* Even better than the seven team 2025, which surely will be talked about for decades to come... * (Unless Belle Vue win again)....
  18. Jody Scott Luke harrison although rumoured to be not signing as a RS Hodder ryan ingram jordy loftus ace pijper (northampton) Ben trigger senna summers aston vale seth norman charlie southwick ollie binns and if that is the list then god help us, they are no where near ready for prem, scrap the RS
  19. I think it was 2019, I went to opening meeting with Brummies as we'd both gone up and they reported a crowd of over 1000, I also went to the Good Friday KO Cup with Brummies, baking hot and blue groove and melting free easter eggs, a local I spoke to said it was close to 1500, biggest crowd they'd had in 10 years. I tried to get tickets in 2021 for the opening meeting v Poole to go with my brother who lives in Bexhill, as we were starved of speedway and brummies opened quite late, and I remember having to get online , Brummies and Eagles used the same Ticketing platform I think Eagles had made recommendation to Peter Mason about it, and could not get one as the limit was set at 800? and they had sold out. I think all crowds were Covid restricted and segregated until July that year to advance ticket sales only (Perry Barr definitely was) so I can't see how they could have had more than the set limit anywhere, until July. It would be great to see Speedway back at Arlington but I do agree with the sentiments that it has to be on a weekend and at CL level as otherwise it'll just be set to fail and cost someone a lot of money to soothe the ego of Mr Coleman / Morris and Lemon.
  20. Any hints as to who the rising star will be?!
  21. Good side but King will be in and so should Cairns if Mayfield can walk the walk as the saying goes.
  22. Richard Coleman's wallet will definitely need to be bigger than mine to make this happen
  23. Finance ainโ€™t an issue I promise ya ๐Ÿ˜œ Wont be the team though, miles orf.
  24. get your wallet out Arthur, ๐Ÿ˜
  25. So rumours of Harrison in the side. I do like the idea of keeping Joe T in the team though after his 25% average reduction and possibly even keeping Howarth (if he's ready). That would give Stewart big options for heat leaders.
  26. Yesterday
  27. A lot of red faces with all the Zischke definitely going to Glasgow know it all's.
