  1. Past hour
  2. Wow what a shocker of a Saturday evening for the Pirates. Credit to Ben Barker though, 18 points with a dicky shoulder. Well done Gladiators. At least Poole got the aggregate bonus point - not that it matters much now. (Ps. Well done Worky.)😉
  3. Oh dear poor pilots pulled a defeat out of the jaws of victory 😁 well done Plymouth, don't suppose @lbw will be having a celebratory flat white, but I can see @lewy running round the coliseum celebrating in his clown suit 😄
  4. Who did you ask? SCB don't administer league points, that'd have been a BSPL decision, l'd think.
  5. Its been a whil since I last saw live action at the speedway (7years and counting) ... but the same old names keep cropping up and some don't seem to have improved at all. There's at least 2 in this Poole side, and one in the Plymouth team. Guess they just ride for fun. They cannot be making any money !
  6. Was the track slick.(unable to attend or stream )? Times suggest it was.
  7. Barker riding through the pain barrier wanted the win so badly, fair play to him, that was some effort
  8. The red arrows route has been known for a couple of days, probably as they flew over Workington as well as the stadium the smoke was put on for all to see, but it was good to see directly over the stadium
  9. Yes Zach and Anders had bad nights, Barker was incredible.
  10. young stars will win the ndt if they win this meeting
  11. That was a big improvement on the last couple of Saturdays,Nick looking more like his old self and everyone chipping in,wonder what Sam keeping his second bike for 😉 it was going like a rocket.
  12. Nice to see, presumably the club must've requested a quick detour for a mini-flypast as the smoke was switched on for the short time over the stadium.
  13. What an embarrassment this Poole team are. Plymouth show more fight and deserved the win
  14. Definitely hasn't been as much dirt on this season compared to last, presumably at the request of the riders, and what there is is quite dry on days like today despite the watering which makes good gating paramount.
  15. How did we throw that away. Zach was rubbish all night and got passed by Joe T in heat 14.
  16. Feel for the pirates, few shocking decisions and they end up some how losing on the night. glad all riders appear to have gotten away injury free. Id have gone Kerr over Thompson in heat 15. The form of Zach and Anders is a worry
  17. Vaculik a shoe in for a wildcard imo with the Prague GP being used as the excuse to select him.
  18. Taken from Edinburgh website: "Joining Adam in the team is Dayle Wood - a new name to British Speedway but with experience from Australia. The 28 year-old from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales has raced motorcycles since the age of 6 before transitioning to speedway in 2018 having always watched and loved the sport." https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2023-02-08/roynon-and-wood-join-monarchs-academy
  19. If Poole win this league featuring two riders well past their sell by date then it just proves how weak the Championship has become.
  20. You have lol Plymouth lost a heat leader tonight and there number 1 is missing Plymouth lost Barker early on the other night And Oxford turned up with Scunthorpes number 7 riding at 3 At Ipswich we faced Oxford with no Tungate and and weaker number 4…. We got lucky …. It happens in speedway If you can’t acknowledge that you have had the rub of the green recently I find that a bit strange
  21. Because you said that is 3 meetings in a row we have ridden against a weakened team.
  22. Please read what I wrote …. I said it wasn’t Pooles fault how is that negative it’s fact And yes we faced a weaker Oxford side I’m struggling to see the point you are making
  23. You comment on every Poole meeting and its always in a negative way. Its not like Ipswich raced against a weakened team in their last meeting!
  24. Need Poole track staff to show how to replace fence.
  25. Yes just like Shovlar and Lisa commenting on Ipswich meetings … how dare they
