  1. Past hour
  2. Yes but Tobias' 2nd division Danish fixtures were mainly on weekends! Next season it's rumoured that he'll be racing in the Danish senior league on Wednesdays.
  3. exactly this. the product is poor. aside from the standard of on track action it's 15 minutes of action dragged out over 2 hours. it's supposed to be a high octane extreme sport. unless you're into tractors then it's dull. if the endless track grading improved the on track action then fair enough but invariably it doesn't seem to make any difference. 15 heats is a 60 minute job 20 heats 90 minutes. Stats are huge in all sports now. they even create stats in football to make it seem more interesting or fill more TV time. speedway is made for stats yet there's zero content. make the match format more flexible. people love watching live sport and having opinions on what subs to make, or what tactics to use or who to bowl from what end etc. just say everyone has to have a min three and max six rides and let the team manager work out the best line up. let the trailing team select the gates. you know stuff that would add to the interest. you still need exciting on track action and it doesn't get much better than at Belle Vue but if you're waiting 5 , 10, 15 mins between heats with nothing to discuss then you lose all momentum. It's like when you go to a gig and the set list gets the crowd singing then the band play a new one and everybody goes for a piss. speedway it like that but with 5 minutes silence between each song while the band tinker with their instruments.
  4. You do realise Nagel was not in a points scoring position at the time of his bike failure and it was the last lap.
  5. Tobias didn’t have many fixture clashes over the past 2 years with his Danish fixtures.
  6. Can do Denmark when you don’t have a meeting here, just cause he’s signed a contract there doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be prioritising it.
  7. Beau Bailey another heading Dorset way. There’s your second change right there.
  8. When we signed Villads we never new his teams in Poland and Denmark would reach their playoffs finals plus a few of his missing meetings were only because his polish teams had a rain offs and they just put it on the following week and Poland seem to get priority
  9. Christ Harris should simply rise above it all!!😇
  10. Sometimes it depends who the youngster has around them. At Ipswich having Louis, Doyle possibly Emil around him would certainly give Cooper the best start.
  11. Today
  12. Not if it were reorganised to give them the opportunity to compete - too many riders who are Premiership doubling down into the Championship.
  13. I think there will be more than one change. CR for Starke is 2 points saved. Zach has been terrific but you maybe right about him not doing championship.
  14. Currently at Darlington 🚂 Up for the PIRATES ☠️ win 48-42 C'mon the Boyzzz ☠️ 💪
  15. The highlights option is probably better for appealing to potential punters but I doubt that would come with much money. The TV sports broadcasters want their air time filled and advertisement windows filled and in a lot of cases they are prepared to pay ridiculous amounts of money to do this, that's what a TV deal should/would/could bring.
  16. It could also be said that a bike failure in heat 14 cost Poole the point that would have given them the aggregate!
  17. Minor detail considering the superb coverage they do.Olly Allen and Kelvin are not exactly neutral on TNT.
  18. Assuming the points limit stays at 40 then Poole have to lose around 4 points from the current 1-7!!
  19. I take your point on Klindt and Riss BTW, but im not budging on Nagel and he is a terrific talent.
  20. Can the Pirates reset, refocus after such a great night? This is going to be a bit of a mental challenge too for Poole, but one they should be up to imo. But it could also be an opportunity for The Bears. First four heats crucial tonight I'm thinking.
