  3. Oh really thanks, although I'm sure I saw a result from Germany that he was competing in🤷‍♀️🤔
  4. I'm trying to track down the date of a 1984 Wessex Junior League match between Poole and Reading which finished 13-4. It is likely that it was staged in May/June/July. I'll take anything anyone's got from confirmation of date (or confirmation of when it wasn't) to full heat details. Thanks in advance.
  5. You've got your dates mixed up hugger it's the 6th not the 1st, and it was a poor attempt anyway
  6. Terrible timetable for having virtually no fixtures on Bank Holiday Monday. Just Belle Vue and Leicester home and away.
  7. Nowadays you have to take into account riders availability these days.Schedules are often worked around them these days.
  8. I might well agree with you, but I was only responding to another poster who suggested BSPL was negligent in some way, without saying what they should have done
  9. BSN breaking down on route to Leicester just about sums up British speedway this season
  10. Will the pirates now sign Garrity. Havelock influence along with Sean Wilson
  11. I like mine black and hot just how I take my coffee
  12. Today
  13. Hated playing golf. Kept losing the ball in the bushes or it landing in the rough. So I’m back and hope you are pleased.
  14. True, but without Kurtz, I didn’t think we’d get such a thumping as this. Two race wins, no heat advantages. Joe T beat an opponent, so not all doom and gloom.
  15. That’s been the rule for many years, though I don’t know if it still stands. But who does it negatively impact? Workington will have one now and Oxford would get one straight away when Jamie Courtney moved his licence from Berwick. Who else, other than Northampton and perhaps Ipswich is there?
  16. Great news, let’s hope it continues throughout the season. Thanks for the reply 👍
  17. We've almost always been terrible at Belle Vue, even with Fricke in the side.
  18. A side set up for home wins... Close ones hopefully to keep the crowd engaged enough to keep coming back.. A home win by six tonight?
  19. That says more about the others than it does about Dickson’s quality
  20. As an Ipswich fan I think Dickson is the best manager in the league … he isn’t the promoter he doesn’t pick the 1-7 although he has some input ….. he definitely didn’t want Kemp or Joe T
