  2. Bowes didn't lay his bike down which would mean he bailed out on purpose. He fell off trying to avoid Kerr who had an ef. Both should have been excluded.

  4. Enjoyable meeting with plenty of talking points. Bowes should not have been excluded for laying his bike down to avoid Kerr, Kerr should have been excluded as primary cause. Kyle was excellent and I would keep him, he is Poole at heart and always gives his best for us, he should have been given heat 15 with the meeting already won. Bowes seems to have been signed on one excellent meeting last season, tonight he was awful as he was at Oxford. Lawson on the other hand was brilliant.
  5. Reckon Gilkes will likely replace Bowes at Poole not Kyle Newman.
  6. Today
  7. That's a really inaccurate comment, but what you could pick up on when Cairnes came to the line for heat 14 was that he was 100% fired up for it. So no surprise he wanted to celebrate when he pulled it off, with a real gritty ride.

    Motogp

Last weekend’s Moto 3 race is definitely worth watching
  9. Bowes was responsible for the stoppage as he fell so had to be excluded although i agree Kerrs EF caused Bowes fall. Kerr wasn't under power when the red lights came on so should also have been excluded. Wood fell after the red light came on so was rightly allowed to contest the rerun.
  10. I don't think it is a tricky position, Gilkes for Bowes seems the obvious choice
  11. Got to get rid of Bowes and bring Gilkes back. Have Gilkes at 4 with Lewi and when Cooper hits his proper average you can partner him with Lewi. 1 Lawson 2 Gilkes/Newman 3 Kerr 4 Rushen 5 Cook 6 Cairns 7 Newman/Gilkes Don't need Bowes.
  12. Just got back and thoroughly enjoyed that. Some very good racing tonight with lots of passing played out in front of a very good sized crowd. A few bones of contention. Bowes being excluded when it looked to all and sundry that Kerr had engine issues. And Wood getting back in when he seemed to fall on his own. Best race was clearly the Lawson last to first but special mention for Kyle who made it happen. Our reserves are both rather good though Cooper currently has the edge. Good rivalry in the same team will bring them both along. As for Bowes, well he had a disastrous meeting. Matt left him in heat 14 and he over tried when it looked like he was going to lead down the back straight. Got to give the lad a chance but Matt doesn’t take any prisoners. Last of all Kyle who tries his heart out every race. If that was his last meeting for Poole, he will be picked up within days.
  13. Friday 1st May: Edinburgh Monarchs v Berwick Bandits (BSN Series), Armadale, 7:30pm) ROSS ECO TECHNOLOGIES MONARCHS: Dan Thompson, Jonatan Grahn, Justin Sedgmen, Paco Castagna (capt.), Kye Thomson, Mitch Cluff, Jordy Loftus. R.E.D. BANDITS: Peter Kildemand, Jye Etheridge, Victor Palovaara, Lasse Fredriksen, Nick Morris, Jack Smith, Dayle Wood (guest). Happy (but surprised) that Dan is at Armadale rather than Landshut this Friday. And happy that Paco will be there as well after his trip over the fence last week. There were encouraging signs from both reserves guesting at Workington on Sunday, so hopefully they can shut up the moaners unbelievably calling for changes after only a couple of meetings. Bandits will provide stiff opposition and they have Dayle Wood guesting for the injured Reid Battye. This may help them as, although Reid has started off in sensational form, he may have found difficulty in adapting to the tight environs of Armadale - and Dayle has been showing some pretty sensational form too.
  14. Tricky position but Newman seems too be getting his fair share of points in the n2 berth .
  15. Looks like an early season taxi for Bowes 🤣 can it be a straight swap for gilkes ?
  16. Pretty decent meeting, Oxford a bit unlucky not to be closer but that’s Carrington for you, been around for years and years and never gets any better.
  17. Oxford should have been awarded x2 5-0's tonight. Kerr wasn't under power when Bowes had his first fall and Cairns back wheel was clearly over the white line in the first staging of heat 14. Bowes looks like a signing! 👌
  18. He is and he’s the reason why Poole will clean up this year.
  19. Said it when he signed and I’ll say it again now, Bowes was an awful signing by Poole and very unlike Poole signing. As he’s not very good. May have the odd good meeting but not what riding for Poole is about.
