  1. Past hour
  2. The longer this goes on the more damage gets done to the Leagues.
  3. Surely if a promoter paid the rent up front then the Dugards would have to consider a return of Speedway. Bob and Martin were and are speedway people but the rest of them aint. Eric comes across as a miserable old bugger.
  4. Pete Jarman rode for Wolves from 1964 to 1969.he moved there from Stoke. After Wolves he moved to Oxford, then Cradley. He ended his career at Eastbourne.
  5. Have you actually read my original post in full or are you just another one of these idiots who just glances over and makes judgement? I am not debating the photo's inside the magazine. I am debating about what is on the front cover. Go ahead and reply back if you like (after you've had a little tug that is).
  6. Today
  7. Just like speedway then šŸ˜›
  8. 9. No,from what I have read, discovery is staying with Warner Bros.as is TNT USA,but Netflix is taking TNT international. All this could take up to 12-18 months to finalise,so I guess a lot of things are in limbo for now.
  10. Whats luke harrisons average. he is a great rider .
  11. Probably because they clearly are not favourites, can't really see that team challenging.
  12. A great night and a great team. now jake back at redcar i think jake will ride like he used to. and jordan will score some great points this year.
  13. Thanks. Pete Jarman, I vaguely remember him, did he ride for Eastbourne or am I again losing the plot?
  14. I think the problem people have is the ā€œ what we hadā€ to ā€œwhat we’ve gotā€. We have lost Danny King & Erik Riss and replaced them with Jake Allen & Jordan Jenkins, it’s just the initial optics tell you it’s not as good. Best analogy I can give is it’s like getting out of a Mercedes into a Skoda. Both equally capable of doing a good job but …
  15. I think it's a great team. Both 'newcomers' have previous spells at Redcar so it is a team that Bears fans can really identify with. In Edwards, Jenkins, Mulford, Scott and Pijper they have no less than five riders with significant potential for improvement. Just needs Allen to find his mojo.
  16. Maybe that was the time they found out there would be no tv deal renewal... or maybe June/July when Mr Dickson called for and EAGM?
  17. While the team doesn't have the second heat leader strength of last year, it does have 3 "3rd heat leaders" so the 3/4 pairing should be strong. Very decent reserves, especially of they carry on improving. Hard to judge till we see other teams complete, but see no reason they can't fight for the title.
  18. Agree, Kye really improved in the second half of the season, even when moving to number 5.
  19. That was a bit different, Morris signed on his last Champ average from 2023. But as soon as he rode a match, they dropped any 2022 matches from his rolling ave (only goes back 3 years) so his average dropped heavily.
  20. Remember the play off semi final against Oxford at Ashfield when he left Pijper in against Boughen. The pair crashed with Pijper possibly lucky not to get excluded. However he wasn't fit enough to go in the rerun and Complin was brought in. He put in a great ride which turned the meeting in our favour and took us to the final, the one we won. CB got out of jail that night.
  21. Looks good to me. Only surprise is that some Poole fans haven't posted that you must be one of the favourites.
  22. To my untrained eye IainB posted 6 PL 8 CL is the aim
  23. Yesterday
  24. Yarmouth were the first visitors, but it was in 1949, not the late 1950s. Halifax closed in 1951 and reopened in 1965.
  25. The plus for this team is 6 of those riders can hit the ground running with set ups there’s no getting used to a different track which will be a big plus for Redcar.
