  1. Past hour
  2. I'd be very sad to see Cooper and Jody up and leave Kings Lynn. One way to keep your fans is to keep riders who connect with the local fanbase. If they could possibly work it to get Rob Lambert back - and perhaps make some changes at the management level, then maybe the locals will stick with the team and come and out and support in greater numbers? I hate the constant churn of riders. I mean I feel no connection to Max Fricke, he's simply the newest hired gun. TBH every rider in the League pretty much moves and rides for a new team every couple of years, you don't get many riders who stay at one club that long, anymore. It's musical chairs. Sadly.

  4. As a neutral Ryan Douglass is riding so well at the moment is their any way with speedway being open to rule breakes that he =could maybe come in as guest for flu victim Rowe if he chucks a sick note at the right time!!!!
  5. How easy would it be if the worst thing came out of this and Lambert decides to race on a Polish licence?IS it just a signature on a a piece of paper or does it go deeper then that that with complex lists of doing stuff for the nation of the counrtry he is riding for?Maybe a stupid question but do you have to do national service in Poland for example which!! might put him off
  6. Did you make the same complaint about guests in 2023 when Bomber rode for you in the semi final ? Or was it only wrong when he then rode against you in the final ?
  7. Yesterday
  8. But Leicester finished higher than Lynn who signed Fricke. With Fricke, Leicester would've had to be weaker elsewhere.

  10. Yeah, on the last lap maybe should've tried to get in the way of Pickering more, rather than going for the win
  11. Do any Leicester fans think Masters has been underwhelming this season or is it just me.?
  12. Have the prices gone up, or is that a mistake on the website for students and Senior Citizens???
  13. And I bet they used somebody else's room while they were out🫢
  14. It may help if you put the year you require. I haven't a clue, but it may help you.
  15. If Leicester had Kept Fricke, and was their choice not to, then make up of the main body of the team would not have been the same as what it is now. It would have had to be a lot weaker…..want to know how weak, look no further than Kings Lynn.
  16. But in the facial world that is UK speedway he is the only rider available on a par with Jack Holder who has saved Sheffields season, they must thank the stars Lynn never made the play off's or they would have been looking at Klindt or probably Lawson. Absolutely with Jack Holder out there are only three world class riders in the UK luckily for Sheffield the only season saving option was available.

  19. Did anyone tell Douglas that winning the race doesn't win the super heat....
  20. Loads of plaudits for Fricke but he could have easily cost Sheffield there place in the final with his excessively hard riding.
  21. Multiple changes from the original lineup. Dissapointing but surely they new Poland would be a consideration.
  22. Sheffield are lucky Fricke is available, it certainly makes it a more interesting final. Fricke is now part of the Sheffield play off team.
  23. Funny how a rider who failed to get in the play off with his contracted team from the start of the season can now knock out another team in the semi-finals. It’s surprising really that anybody watches speedway anymore with genuine love for their team. Nowadays it’s just for everyone to watch the sport. Coleman is right, tribalism of cheering on your team is completely dead in this sport and exactly why speedway won’t get new supporters through the door. First time in 4 years I couldn’t be bothered to watch the play offs. Good meeting or not it’s just beyond a joke. Rules need to change next year with a lot of other bits too. I’m an Ipswich fan but to be honest even if we build an awesome team what’s the point when other teams can’t follow suit and have good and fair competition. Surely everybody wants to win a competitive league and not this current state of affairs. Saying that, good luck Sheffield and Belle Vue and I hope you make some brilliant racing in the final!
  24. Do you really want to compare the history of Britain and Russia? What Russia are doing in Ukraine is not even close to what the British Empire did.
  25. Fricke is a top rider, we have seen that in both meetings, he is the only rider riding tonight who can compete with the top two of Belle Vue. It is a shame he has had an inconsistent season for Kings Lynn
  26. Good job he did, the rest of your team couldn't rip the skin off a rice pudding tonight.
  27. Leicester are better without Fricke are they? 🤫 Guess what, he comes in as a guest and over both meetings, rips Leicester a new one 🤣 That should be leason learned from the Leicester promotion. When it comes to those crunch moments in big matches, a genuine No1 makes a huge huge difference.
  28. CVS obviously isnt going to be interested, hes getting on in age now to say the least and has had to overcome some serious illnesses. I have seen at least 20 people on the Newport sos page saying how they miss the sport and its an outrage the council hasn't brought it back etc.. yet i didnt see them attend a Newport meeting since the Smart and Henriksson days. People come out once its too late in support but weren't there when the club needed them. I know circs are different at Wolves regarding the closure but expecting anyone to put money into a club to start again when they can see whats happening to the sport around them is insane. I am stunned Northampton happened to be honest, yes they are getting good crowds now but all new clubs do for the first season or 2. Once fans get sick of seeing a poor side they drop off thats why its crucial Northampton have a decent team next year.
