This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. This hits the nail on the head, if the 2 big boys can perform better in heats 13 and 15 away then we have a chance in the play offs.
  3. Bike trouble wasn't it. I highly doubt Brady decided after 3 rides that he needed to ease off in case he got injured, or may be the stats say yore more likely to get injured in heat 13 and 15 than any other heat.
  4. If correct what I got told last night that Sheffield are already stating that they can only run Thursday nights during play offs then trying to restate this may be a meeting after the play offs are complete
  5. No I think its normally 13.99 now, used to be 12.99 dont know when it went up. Unfortunately heat 14 incident is not clear and I doubt Cami had a clear view of it either but a decision had to be made. Often the ref will take the easy option given the chance.
  6. In which case everyone gets a refund, and they allow season ticket holders free admission to the play off semi. Not difficult really.
  7. Leicester will play Sheffield regardless of where they finish. As I understand it, the team finishing second has the choice of riding at home or away in the first leg. All it needs is a rain off and the second leg becomes the first leg which then makes the choice a farce.
  8. If it's cancelled, would be unfair to season ticket holders, and anyone in attendance, as re-admission tickets only valid for re-staging.
  9. Today
  10. Maybe they are hanging fire till after next Thursday ? If Sheffield lose at Ipswich then this meeting won't influence who meets who in the playoffs, so it can be 'cancelled' and remove the need to delay the start of the playoffs.
  11. Posted on the Sheffield website around 10pm last night : If anyone has difficulty in attending the restaging date, supporters should e-mail re-admission ticket details and bank details to office@sheffield-speedway.com and refunds will be issued once it is confirmed and announced.
  12. 100% as soon as the rain came in certain riders had it fixated into their minds that they weren't going to ride no matter how much track work took place. Especially with it being a GP weekend as well.
  13. But the conversation needs to take place sometime. Quicker and easier than when they have all gone their separate ways.
  14. 14 riders who ride for multiple clubs in multiple countries, plus managers, plus mechanics, plus stadium availability- would suggest that would be more than a 2 minute chat unfortunately
  15. Forecast looking very iffy to say the least, looks like I'm staying at home and watching on BSN if the meeting is on
  16. yeah, his no1 bike broke when dad had it so that ruined both dans and bradys nights
  17. So do Poole put their prices up for Glasgow meetings? It was £13.99 on Wednesday. Pity Poole didn't have a camera to show what actually happened in heat 14. It showed what happened in heat 10 but the ref took the easy option. Glasgow did stream during Covid but the used an outside production company that were doing a lot of the Scottish football clubs streaming services. That was very expensive for them so they haven't done it since. It would be great if Glasgow did stream, then a lot more people would see the fantastic racing there, rather than the hundreds that attend meetings. No contest, best track in the UK. And I could see the meetings when I'm unable to attend Tapes Up have covered a few meetings over recent years maybe if enough Poole fans contact Glasgow about streaming KO Cup meeting then it will be.
  18. According to the website Discussions will take place with Ipswich regarding a restaging date in due course. Why not arrange the re-staging there and then, when all interested parties present?
  19. Hypothetically how many people would continue to watch the same or potentially more matches if the sport became streaming only and no live fans? Before im lynched hypothetically..... A regular attendee could watch twice as many matches and still be better off due to saving on food, drinks, transport etc Stadia would not need to be that just a track and pits somewhere industrial and with the lack of paying public have vast amounts of reductions in H&S requirements, red tape and insurances etc Tracks could even be located within large warehouses and therefore weather resistant Thoughts?
  20. To be honest there needs to be a way that in the event of the meeting being postponed any travelling supporters are entitled to a refund. That way you may encourage additional supporters to a travel. Yes you would still be out of pocket for the fuel & food etc but at least the admission fee would be coming back to you.
  21. really impressed wit hthe Plymouth livestream last Satuday when we were the visitors
