Get ready for Laguta racing fan to appear saying Laguta is Foxhall bound -
I watched a "top ten hottest days" this morning on the BBC and they proudly displayed the numbers and months, but the years were in tiny figures. . You can only presume because so many were many decades old... There have been several ice ages too.. And then there wasnt as the whole world melted... Must have been down to farting cows, diesel cars, and fridges... Although... In an effing ice age, why would you have a fridge?..

Never will Belle Vue have a better chance to beat a full strength Ipswich at Foxhall R/R for a rider who can’t ride the place is a help…. Does Doyle get a ride? A much weaker Ipswich side than last season ….plus the aces are stronger at Foxhall with Doyle instead of Bewley and no Lidsey Will the Kurtz who didn’t try in the play offs show up or will he be on it as there is no GP for 2 weeks 50-40 Aces

By the way I think the SM-Vecken is a great idea (which the Swedish speedway final is part of). As far as I understand it is like a small Olympics with a different host city each year. Thirty sports are represented and have their respective national championships in one week which is all showcased on the free to air national tv.

A hand around the scruff of the neck and the other by the seat of his arse then thrown out of the stadium is not mutual

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Karlstad for the Swedish Final. Smart stadium, great crowd and some good racing. Only about £12.50 for 22 heats! Apart from the better known riders, Casper Henriksson impressed me with his never say die attitude. It made up for last year’s rain-offs for the Final and Nyköping later the same week! The weather looks set fair for tomorrow’s Örnarna v Solkatterna so we are looking forward to a new track which will take us up to 16 Swedish tracks.

off 15m for you!!

Probably, but he had a 'Speculate to Accumulate' attitude which was working. Advertisements across the region in a 20/30 mile radius. Tiny initiatives on race days that kept kids & teens entertained during breaks / stoppages. All sorts of things happening. Importantly, the teams were always competitive too. Right from the day he left you could visibly see the decline in standards throughout. Same thing happened when he was in charge of the British Speedway events. He created a huge uplift in individual & team events, fans returned through the turnstiles to previously struggling meetings. Absolutely convinced King's Lynn would of had a league title (finally) & he had the minerals to push British Speedway forward to be competitive against the fight with the growth of Polish Ekstraliga.

Some changes to line-up for Saturday's memorial meeting. One to note is Kemp in for Batchelor. Unsure where Batchelor is, but he hasn't missed a meeting for us in two years, so must be something important. More track time for Kemp is a positive though.

I hope he does as Poole are after him
