  2. Will the lesser spotted Knudsen be making an appearance in the near future?
  3. Yesterday
  4. Monarchs had three riders who had never ridden at Oxford before, including one 16 year old making his Championship debut in the UK. Add in that this was also only Palm Toft's second meeting this Season upon returning from injury, so imo, Monarchs did well to achieve this victory tonight.
  5. Yes it would be an eye opener to most. Massive housing development, Westfield shopping centre, bars and restaurants abound. A lot more attractive than it was pre Olympics. Most people would be leaving at the same time and heading to Stratford station. Very little chance of any trouble. Of course, a few in the know will opt for other stations and parking and might be well advised to avoid walking accross the dark park and to stay on the lit roads. All academic in any event because WBD will never risk promoting at the London stadium themselves, and the chanced of an independent promoter doing it must be slim
  6. I would pretty much agree with all of that,Kerr went backwards as night went on,Zach had one of his best meetings and actually rode like a heatleader. As for the Rocketman well again dominant a pleasure to watch. think it’s going to be tough vs Glasgow next week as Anders doesn’t look 100%,and Cairns 1st meeting I’d take a 46-44 now.
  7. Unless they make more money per stream from Bandits TV than BSN and think more further afield fans would still get the stream and closer fans would still make the trip even with it being on BSN?
  8. I can’t disagree with that. A patched up Oxford side gave a strong Edinburgh side a scare, especially with those back-to-back 5-1s. Really surprised by how poor Harrison and Scott were.
  9. Well good result, but apart from Rocket Man, no Pirate really showed any class more a matter of the Bandits being a bit of a shambles. OK Zac did score well but only from the front. Smartie ended up with a good score but only because he was in just about every race. Anders has a medical excuse. Kerr was OK but no real pace and poor Ritchings left stage left through no fault of his own. So my point is Poole need to get much better if they are going to teams like Glasgow.
  10. I would say pure adrenaline would have got Kurtz through Saturday anyway. It's afterwards when the adrenaline subsides is when you seem to feel the pain.Just because he rode an extra 2 heats doesn't make him fit or else the same could be said about Doyle.
  11. Yes and Kurtz got up and rode two more heats. So he wasn’t unfit to ride was he. He might end up turning into a B.Cook if he pick and chooses what race to turn up to but always appears at the SGP. This is the problem with British speedway, no loyalty for the clubs. People can say “he needs to prioritise his SGP for his success and future” well do it then. And hopefully get dropped by the whole reason you’re even in the SGP…because clubs actually gave you a chance to learn your trade… so pay them back in loyalty!
  12. Strange Bears fan that doesn't read his own clubs press releases…..its Ziscke.
  13. Yes indeed but they hit best night to race Oxford Knudsen and Gusts would surely scored more than the 2 that the two guests got between them!
  14. You can say you want to bring in technology in regards to apps all you want but you need youngsters in the stadium first. My god people barely get up and clap a 5–1 at foxhall and it’s a sorry sight when half of them that would try would end up like doyley and out of action every other week with an injury! People get hooked on these programme but I go to watch the racing then quickly whip out the phone on the track grades and load up sportowefakty to look at live scores then get back to watching the meeting and celebrating when we get a 5-1, not grabbing a pen and noting down the score. Each to their own I guess, but a young crowd aren’t into that type of thing. If they have to focus on writing scores down they won’t bother and straight away get disinterested. Is it that much of a cost for witches to use the Electric Board on bend 3/4 to show scores and riders ?
  15. Can see Monarchs giving Redcar a real battle on Friday, might hinge on Redcar’s guest for Edward’s, hoping for Zack Cook.
  16. Eh? Kurtz picked up a new hand injury on Saturday did you see his interview afterwards? I've no idea if he will ride tomorrow, or Friday or Saturday. But if he doesn't ride tomorrow then rides on Friday then that is no different to what Doyle did last week.
  17. Jenkins had his balls in a sling but carried on riding! 🔴🔴
  18. Killeen was outstanding, but he definitely buys his race suits from build-a-bear.
