  1. Past hour
  2. Lidsey's away average is 7.36 up from 6.43 last year - now that's what I call pants
  3. Blodorn is also away on Monday apparently
  4. I'm sure Lemo can convince Doyley to drop a league and sign him and Tungate for Kildemand and Bewley
  5. I think it's over riding that makes the mistakes, trying to hard to score points little mistakes turn into bigger ones then these turn into accidents, hope the guy recovers from his injury
  6. Puts pressure on the WC's for next year too... Presume both will get a WC so the "regulars" won't want to have a poor season..
  7. When is Kildemand due back after his collarbone, is it in time for Monday’s double header v Sheffield does anyone know or will they be running with guests for him and Bewley?
  8. Not his biggest fan but Batchelor is riding above his start of season average, it’s Lidsey and Klindt that have been major flops so far for the Foxes. If the track is slick like the Lions riders like it can see another away victory on the horizon
  9. All six combine their riders now, so why not?...
  10. Plus he is a crowd puller away from home, which won't help attendances... Certainly has shown more "edge" to his racing this season, so, bloody typical such a thing happens when he is riding in the best form of his career... Who Wroclaw replace him with is going to be some question to answer. Can their top four take his rides?. If so Kurtz, Laguta, Janowski and Kowalski probably covers at home, but not sure away... I presume the Aces will use "horses for courses" guests?. They should have plenty to choose from.. Best Wishes to Dan, and hopefully back before the season end..
  11. Maybe the two clubs could combine their riders into a single squad and make team selections on a match by match basis? "Best commercial interests" and all that.
  12. Today
  13. Lindgren and Bewley out. What a massive loss to the SGP series. Already done and dusted before its even started unless Kurtz can repeat last seasons performances.
  14. Looks like he could have been killed without the airfence. No head injury by the sound of things. Hopefully the thigh can mend ok. Not sure about the vertebrae, though. The bike should have been impounded although will it be in any condition to be examined. Shocking incident, good he is still alive. What a terrible blow to the sport after everything that went on during winter and the injury toll so far
  15. Dan is bery difficult to replace at the best of times, but in UK speedway today its impossible. A season of guests and R/R it is.
  16. They have to work down the reserve list which is. 1 Parnitskyi - in it 2 Thomsen 3 Kvech 4 Huckenbeck 5 Pollestad Wild card - the federation nominates to be ratified by the FIM
  17. It's more the bikes than the riders. The modern lay-down reacts much better on a slicker surface, plus the bikes are now easier to race and pass when the track is slick. The power the bikes now have means they launch if the track has too much grip. Although, last night, I think the biggest problem wasn't the level of grip but the big rut halfway around the first and second bend. Dayle Wood hit it Heat 2 and lost his chain. Race leader Anders Rowe hit during Heat 4 but managed to stay on. Fraser Bowes hit it in Heat 6 and was less lucky.
  18. Do they have to work down the substitute list or can they pick any rider they want?
  19. Interesting idea, could Belle Vue bring in a 28 day replacement, then revert back to guests r/r for Bewley though?
