  1. Past hour
  2. As a positive, its great to see the likes of Zagar, Harris and Iversen still scoring points. I remember seeing them riding for Trelawny and Newport at Trelawny in 2003 , crazy to think 23 years on they would still be putting in respectable scores in the British top division.
  3. Social media is where its at now for advertising online. I can't remember the last time I bothered to go to a clubs website. I watch every ManU game on TV and haven't been on the website since before I left the UK. Same as with speedway, you see all results on social media. Club websites have been rubbish on the whole since the internet has been around but having a quick glance now, its a wonder they even bother with them. Not just info wise but the design and lay out is just horrendous. Just don't bother.
  4. This is Plymouth we are talking about!!!!🤣
  5. He's clearly not well at the moment - he only scored 1 point for Krakow at the weekend.
  6. Wish I had of seen this comment before I went to the meeting
  7. Hes done 2 league meetings, I thought if he could ride he would turn up for the Swedish gp, maybe hes reinjured himself.
  8. The age old scenario as you get older the injuries take longer to heal and often not properly or without leaving legacies in comparison to when you were younger .
  9. Yep and the 3 GP wildcards are all but sorted i would suggest - Bewley, Holder and Lindgren. They might get another depending on who wins the SEC. If the winner is a GP rider ( 6 chances) and he finishes in the top 7 GP standings at the end of the season they will get one more pick.
  10. Odd meetings, not most of the season, year after year
  11. Few rumours starting and odd meeting getting missed for Mr lawson at short notice But don't get the attention Mr Cook got/gets
  12. Time and injuries starting to catch up will have rely on W/C at this rate !
  13. Round 12 dates and timings announced Sunday 2nd August Zielona Gora v Torun start time 4pm UK time Leszno v Grudziadz start time 6.30pm UK time Sunday 9th August Gorzow v Czestochowa start time 4pm UK time Wroclaw v Lublin start time 6.30pm UK time
  14. Will he turn up? He did the same disappearing act in Denmark a couple of weeks ago - in between riding in the UK on the Monday/Thursday either side. Very strange....
  15. NES stiller med følgende hold: 1. Esben Hjerrild 2. Wiktor Jasinski 3. Dimitri Buch 4. Rasmus Pedersen 5. Richard Lawson Lawson is in Nordjysk lineup for tomorrow. Interesting.
  16. Danny won't be back as his 7 day suspension remains current until the weekend.. This is a real problem for the return match against Leicester on Thursday as all six premiership clubs are in action. Also, if Lawson fails to produce a medical certificate he could be facing a 28 day suspension for withholding his services.
  17. Round 12 dates and timings announced Friday 31st July Ostrow v Rzeszow start time 6pm UK time Saturday 1st August Bydgoszcz v Pila start time 3.30pm UK time Sunday 2nd August Poznan v Rybnik start time 12pm UK time Krosno v Lodz start time 2.15pm UK time
  18. Any day now..... That "Wow" announcement that Rob Godfrey mentioned will be made public... Probably waiting for Wimbledon, the World Cup, and the Tour De France to finish so it doesn't impact the amount of publicity it will attract...
  19. Today
  20. I'm sure Northampton would love to find a top heat leader somewhere but even someone who can consistently chip in with 5 or 6 instead of Batchelor would turn some of these near misses into wins.
  21. And what happened to Speedway Futures?
  22. Doesn't help any bandit fans planning to travel or already booked flights trains hotels, especially as the weather forecast is good for travelling fans
  23. No, no equivalent. I also don't think the Ben Fund is just for British riders, so what you say is true in terms of independent financial support to riders.
  24. Dry slick tracks suit some more than others and no surprise that Musielak did well given his Polish experience, certainly made the meeting a little more entertaining. Not sure what's going on with Lawson but I don't think the Ipswich management will be too impressed but if he was genuinely ill then that can't be helped. Will King be back on Thursday and if so, then R/R could be used for Lawson if he's still ill??
