  1. Past hour
  2. Reminds me of the 2011 Fours Final when Matt Tréssarieu twice passed the unbeatable Kauko Nieminen on the original too narrow version of this track.
  3. Think u'll find Doyle will sign another 28 day contract with Belle Vue, and keep doing so till Bewley is fit to return.
  4. I would imagine England's world cup match at stupid o'clock Monday would have meant some very tired people come Monday night affecting Stars attendance. Vintage stuff from Niels and good to see Nicolai score well, both badly missed in Stars colours this season. 5 heat winners in a fairly processional drawn out meeting was never going to be enough. That felt like a point won, not a point dropped in the end
  5. I see Plymouth are suspending their online ticketing service with immediate effect to speed up admissions at the gate Cash and card payments only from now on........
  6. He was. Ellis seems to have taken his place. Initial seedings were Bewley, Brennan, Harris, King, Flint, Wright, D Thompson and Cook. Rushen, Jenkins, Howarth, Cairns, Edwards, Barker, Ablitt, Pijper, Harrison, J Thompson, Newman, S Lambert, Rowe, Mountain, Killeen, Kemp was the original semi-final draw. Any mention of this or the updated semi-final line-up before it was postponed seems to have been deleted from the British Speedway website though.
  7. The management will have a chat with Gavan first and pick his brains.
  8. the racing in Terenzano is usually quite mediocre so I'll reserv my judgement as whether it's a bargain or not until after the race, 🤔😉
  9. Today
  10. Current weather situation. Norrköping is very doubtful. Eskilstuna is a might go ahead but if more rain then no go.
  11. I don't think its for solely British riders either, more for incidents that occur racing in Britain
  12. depends, 1,5 extra by car doesn't seem that challenging (abut 3 hours from Västervik by car). or 3:20 with bus+train combination to Eskilstuna
  13. Its such a shame.last weeks meeting was a cracker, it looked like the whole team wanted it,so i was kind of hoping for the same again last night.Sadly not.Mixed feelings about seeing PuK romp home in heat 15.Right result, wrong race suit
  14. Is there any chance Doyle can be hooked back into the fold when his 28 day deal at BV expires? Agree with Shano about Nicholls... I think it was well worth a try, but it hasn't had the desired results. Lawson and Nicholls out, JD and Jeppesen in perhaps. That would give fans a huge boost!
  15. Joined in 2010, still had a local team then, and went regularly to almost all home matches and a few away, then 2012 it all changed when my team folded, now an occasional meeting attendee if happen to be near a still functioning team, but follow all results avidly
  16. That was one of the reasons we stopped attending absolutely no urgency to get the meeting completed 15 heats is 15 heats if it’s over hour and a half or 3 hours but on a Monday or Thursday evening keeping the meeting flowing should be top priority but sadly it isn’t - speedway in this country needs a total reset 15 heats for £25 is way to expensive for what’s on offer basically 15 minutes racing - we’ve not been to Kings Lynn since August 2021 v Peterborough have I missed it definitely not and this comes from someone who arranged his whole life around speedway especially Kings Lynn .
  17. I must have watched a different meeting .I found it dull, predominantly gate and go and drawn out. From completing 4 heats before 8 o clock to only get to heat 7 by 8.45 was dreadful
  18. Kvech. 200 More Lambert. 150 More Madsen. 150 Less Doyle 200 More Thanks
  19. FYI Workington didn't require a crowd of 1500 in 2018. But unfortunately until the last few trophy winning meetings crowds weren't anywhere near break even . Hopefully now we are at the GT tyres Northside arena all money spent ( food, drink, car park etc ) goes to keeping the speedway alive
  20. Things can start small and unfortunately grow into bigger issues at times 🤔
  21. Russian bot farms helping the demise of Speedway in the UK... and they're doing a cracking job! Under the command of Rob Godfrov!
  22. If we can get all the riders to turn up it should be a good tussle over the 2 legs 👍🏻
  23. The Steve Casey Memorial Meeting at Buxton 3 July at 23:59 · The Boys will be out on track 23/08/26 drifting their beast of a car! Remember it is only a few weeks after that they begin the epic journey to Nice! Come and give them a rousing send off ready for THE NICE RUN OUT!!!!
