As of last year, the ACU re-entered Flat Track racing with an official competition, the ACU British Flat Track Championship, in the realisation that, whilst licensing FT riders for entry into the FT World Championships, they had no official domestic route to develop and mentor riders to international level. Along with their Championship, embracing 9 classes including Youths, PRO Lite and an exclusive Ladies class, an FT Academy scheme was also introduced.
