  2. In fairness the racing at Berwick has been pretty good this year and it hasn’t always been just the home riders that have made excellent overtakes.
  3. Plus you have track that most opponents can ride.
  4. We have two decent reserves and 5 inconsistent riders above them not doing what they should.
  5. Mountain, Harrison and Worrall to stay, the remainder to move on. Need a big hitter at number one , Douglas Klint, Pickering, Cook all go well at the EWR? Take away the large contingent of Edinburgh fans and the attendance would have been pretty poor. Its all over for this year, racing to the bottom for the wooden spoon. Every team has made positive changes apart from us, that says it all for this season. We started with a mediocre team and have ridden to that standard all season.
  6. Give racers a great racing track you will get great racing ;))
  7. It will also be a big help if Trigger can pick up some points where Hagon couldn’t. I’d also love to see Smith scoring as well as yesterday. And if wood can get his 2 points we should be in a good position. But I agree a lot hinges on how quickly JJ can adapt to the track.
  8. Was hinting at a come back in 26 on insta
  9. Today
  10. Jeppesen and Kemp were excellent last night, Jeppesen in particular considering it was his first visit to Glasgow.
  11. Weather is overcast and dull but dry at the moment. There is no rain forecast so should be ok. Get yourselves here !
  12. Great to see him back, must have taken some guts to do that for the first time.
  13. Yes,,,cash only. Three different car parks around the stadium so no worries there. Weather is dull and overcast at the moment, with no rain forecast.
  14. I don't agree that this would be totally one-sided. It coud even be quite a spectacle and a highlight of the UK season! Anyway, it is such a shame we don't get to see a proper GB v Aussie speedway test series. The wait continues.
  15. Not a druggy, just doesn't like being tested. I believe he does like a bottle of Vodka though!
  16. Plus Bailey likely a good basis of a team along with Rowe and Lawson. Will need more experience, would love to see Nic back at Poole next year. Klindt

  18. can you keep us travelling from Teesside updated with weather situation, planning to leave Boro at 2.30pm, thanks
  19. First time mate.... Is it cash only? I think I have read it is on here, and is there a decent car park?
  20. Think no matter what average Will finishes on, plans will be in place. I would guess he will finish on a 4.00 average or near and would slot in nicely at number 6 with a 2.00 pointer at 7.
  21. By the way no criticism of Cairns. Still only recently turned 16 but the hype was like that of Robert Lambert when he first started racing in Lge speedway. Unfair but no surprise considering his form in junior racing and the backing from his family in equipment - overseas travel - overseas racing, and coaching in Sweden and USA from Greg Hancock. Things that a lot of young Brit riders don't have access to.
  22. Think Poole have a bit of a conundrum here thinking of 2026 and regarding young Will Cairns. Thought I read that Champ had agreed a 2 year deal on Champ staying at 40 point limit (sure i saw it from an interview with Danny Ford after last annual Promoters meeting. If this the case then we have Poole sitting on current GSA 41.81 and that's with Will's 2.00 GSA. According to Brit Speedway stats he is on 4.15 from 6 meetings so for sure that will increase the team total. Poole have 4 league meetings left that will make up the final GSA for this season if they only take lge meetings into account and don't take play offs for the final GSA's for 2026. Poole it's safe to say are already in play offs, and possibly will top table. If this is the case what do they do in planning for 2026. I'm sure they would like to keep Will at reserve next year (as he and Rowe already signed deals for this and next season). Do they ask Will (in particular) and Anders (clearly riding injured still) not to push to hard in those last 4 matches ?? Any thoughts ??. Also any thoughts on trying to sign Southern based Cooper Rushen (who expressed a preferenceto sign for a Soutern Club) to partner Will at reserve for 2025. Saw some comments about him maybe already signed on the forum in last 2 months but that went quiet. Cooper for some rated more exciting and maybe better long term prospect than Will ??. Would that leave us exposed at reserve or can we really expect o see Cairns push on in 2025.
