First is in the top 5 if you think about it. Unless you mean 2nd bottom
-
Top5 I reckon.
-
League winning team that I reckon
-
Good signing on a 5.25 imo, If Brennan is the No.1 then silverware is a very long stretch imo so the next best option is to build a Team to win at Home.
-
Looking solid rather than strong, lacking an out and out number 1 at the moment but if they could squeeze Max James in at reserve with Mitchell my calculator leaves a Crang sized hole. That would generate a team that should win at home but has potential to go missing away.
-
Out of the 4 Confirmed 1-7's, I think Sheffield win the League at a canter tbh. I also think Leicester are being overlooked, Douglas and Thompson get better year on year, Morris is on a false GSA due to the white powder imo and Masters has been a No.1 in a much stronger PREM so I don't see a reason as to why he cant get back to those levels tbh.
-
You might want to revise that, because Scotty is in the team...
-
I don't think that's an issue - why rebel against not being paid by scoring less and thereby earning less when you do get paid. The fact he was riding at No.1 in 2024 and is now down to 5.89 suggests a rider on the downward to me rather then plenty in the tank. What he does have in his favour is that he's not a gating dullard.
-
What I would say if defense of Tungate is that he was a No.1 in 2024 and his 5.89 holds significant value in a weakend League. Was he being paid by Oxford hence the problmes in 2025?

So I reckon it will be 10.5% off Ablitt average with both discounts applying so he would start the season on a 4.46/4.47 average. Meaning that he will start just below Lambert who has a 4.48 average I think. -
Wolverhampton Witches. I'm not against it at all, Looks a good Team.
-
How about 1) Lindgren 8.13 2) Nicholls 5.39 3) Musielak 6.63 4) Thorsell 4.50 5) Brennan 7.05 6) Jenkins 4.50 7) Edwards R/S Total: 36.20

Just think the PL is a stretch for Scott now as he would be doubling up !

I’d put Nicholls in over Tungate. Scott is still awesome around Foxhall & would out score Tungate comfortably at home. May not be so good away but you’d get more out of Nicholls over a season than Tungate. Also no concern if he will turn up or not. -

Doesn't have a massive hitter but it looks rock solid. 1. T. Brennan 7.05 2. R. Tungate 5.89 3. R. Lawson 6.81 4. D. King 6.50 or N. Klindt 6.46 5. T. Musielak 6.63 6. J. Thorssell 4.50 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.98 / 36.94

Completely ignoring the fact that out of the 8 they lost their opponents scored 50+ points on 6 occasions. Compare that with 2 for Sheffield, 3 for Ipswich, and 4 for Leicester. Hence the reason I mentioned the need for huge home wins to pick up many aggregate bonus points. Belle Vue had the best home record in the league last season but finished 4th in the table, 5/6 points behind the other 3. Away form was their downfall and with 3 of those 4 riders returning this year it could be the same again this season. -
If Thorssell is a 4.50 then Jenkins has to be released imo....Even though I like the lad. That's a ridiculous reduction for Jacob when his last GSA was 7.33.

Ryan Ingram and Max Perry next 2 looking strong https://www.leicesterspeedway.com

Could be an absolute steal on that average was developing into a possible future gp rider last time he rode in the UK but a really bad crash set him back and then from memory he didn't return to the UK, if Northampton do run assuming they can't get a number one he is exactly the kind of rider they will need on a false average to make sure they win most of their home meetings. Maybe Nigel has a brother who will be underwriting the anticipated losses for the coming season.

Belle Vue had a woeful league campaign last season with a paltry 4 away wins. They need to aspire to powerhouse away teams like Sheffield & Ipswich who won an impressive 5 each.
