Cost to do amend is a significant barrier. Also worth noting new promoters have clearly indicated risks involving costs are to be avoided hence forget Cardiff - that venue is now confined to speedway history.

It is strongly rumoured to be Northampton joining the other 5 making 6 clubs. Think you've misundertood, I mean a few extra meetings as in National League racing on top of Championship meetings of course, like a lot of other clubs have done this season.

From watching the replay multiple times I am not sure if a supporter was struck or not. The footage is not great but I am wondering if they maybe abandoned it due to the state of the fence? Best wishes regardless, if anybody was injured.

It has to be a replay. There’s nothing else for it. It’s the only plausible decision. We finished ahead of Redcar in the league, won at Ashfield and won at Redcar, but it still wouldn’t be fair to award it. I appreciate it’s not league competition, but it’s the only comparison available. Above all else, best wishes and regards to the supporter. Horrible to imagine going out for a great night of speedway and something so serious happening.

Good to hear positive news with Buxton and Mildenhall, along with potential for Cradley as well, although the latter is laced with worry about rumours I've heard of an individual trying to sabotage it

Doesn't matter who wins Redcar, Glasgow or Re-run the whole thing. The most important thing is those who have that been injured are ok and make a full recovery

I'm only counting 5 so far Belle Vue, Sheffield, Leicester, Ipswich and Kings Lynn. No Birmingham and Oxford .Have I missed anybody? Few extra meetings ? You expecting more teams in the NDL than the Championship then ?. Can you really take a one off individual meeting where a number of the riders were of a similar decent Championship level and competed well against each other with what you could expect to see every week if we were in the NDL. After saying that the NDL wasn't a bad standard in 2023. If the status quo remains then I doubt anything will change. A couple of big playoff crowds doesn't mask the generally poor attendances witnessed at many of meetings last season and the financial difficulties many encountered. 5 Premiership teams doesn't excite me personally and raises questions. Going to be interesting to see what happens. Nobody llkes change but sometimes it is necessary. If it isn't broke don't fix it it but when it is that case is harder to make.

Watching the live feed, the commentator said that Jake Allan was on his feet and walked away. Nothing more was said apart from the meeting was tied on aggregate, it has been abandoned, and it will be up to BSPA to decide what happens next

Meeting abandoned, Allen's bike went into the crowd. Very best wishes to the three injured supporters. Nothing else really matters at this point - was not nice to see. Absolutely no fault apportioned to Allen, BTW.
