Should have the upper hand in the Top 5 but Glasgows reserves could be key, Hagon should be the strongest on Show and Hodder has had good races at Edinburgh in the past. I know was only practice but Cluff seemed to struggle to get round the place so leaves a lot of pressure on Yong Jordy to score some points. If one of the top 5 aren’t riding to their capabilities Glasgow could nick it. Never a huge fan of coming up against the old enemy without having a home match under our belts.

I see Ipswich at their own expense has put rider insurance in place, it's been a good start to the new ownership what with the streaming aswell. Be interesting if they do anything different during a meeting to keep the fans involved. .

It doesn’t! I’ve already conceded that. Perhaps I worded that badly. The point I was making, is that it would undoubtedly WILL have an affect on attendance. That’s all I’m concerned about from a selfish point of view. I want to be amongst as many fans as possible from an atmosphere point of view. Was the play off final at Foxhall a thrilling spectacle? No. But the fact it was packed to the rafters made it an occasion that none of us there will forget. If streaming takes a few hundred off the gate, that makes a difference to the meetings day experience.

Got my tickets for this, hope the weather is fair, can see a monarchs win, as I expect Mario and Kevin to struggle with the technical track and both have never seen it. The 3 heatleaders will need to be on top form but will have a tough challenge against Dan T who has been superb at Armadale when there with the tigers. Hopefully the tiggers can keep it close.

The state of our Speedway has somewhat reflected the state of the whole country... Our Speedway used to be up there with the best... the envy of many... a magnet for the worlds top riders... but now...??? We used to have a strong, upstanding country... powerful leaders respected and admired throughout the world... an army, navy and air force that struck fear around the globe... but now...???

Normally up in the Whip Street Motors box between first and second bend, but our old box was leaking and was ripped out in the winter and replaced with a new one and the barstewards haven’t given me the keys yet so afraid I’m slumming it down with the rest of the peasants 😭😂🤪 so we’ll be down in front of the old garden bar. I’ll be the one wearing the black baseball cap 😉 Those I’m with will be bringing wives/kids so I’m the only one without anybody so would be good to have someone to talk to!
