You would not have won with Brady, Peterborough were much stronger then and Brady wasn't the rider he is now. -

Actually 2 different organisations, it was the BSPL that put it on their socials not the SCB, but... as proven, especially over the last couple of years, the SCB does exactly what the BSPL wants, so yes I'm inclined to agree. The integrity of our sport is so corrupt at times! - Today

I started going to Speedway in 1967 and went every week from 1968 onwards to Canterbury, Reading, Oxford, Eastbourne,Arena/Lakeside but stopped going after Poole decided to buy their way to the top every year. I firmly blame Matt Foord for the decline of speedway over the last few years. Also the other promoters for allowing all of the underhand shenanigans once the play offs started. Grand prix riders signed to replace second strings, Chris Harris riding in more play off matches than any other rider. This destroyed the remaining credibility of speedway. I'm afraid that it will not regain credibility back in the near future unless there are huge changes. I do not believe the general public will ever accept speedway all the time riders ride for two or sometimes three different teams, this just does not compute with any possible newcomer.

this same scam organisation shared the footage on all there socials, let that sink in, shame on them -
Id say 1500 maybe a bit more Possibly though the reduced "covid" capacity is still in place as indeed it was at Monmore
-
I get the feeling that you may be right.
-
Nope he was top class for belle vue, he had a poor year last year and has stepped up again this year.
-
Oh bore off, no point talking to someone who just constantly wants to argue every point. Of course Sheffield thought they could win. We might get stuffed still 14 times champions though.
-
Not the point i was making, maybe read the post i replied to, to understand the context. I was simply giving examples of how every team has had to endure injurys, sometimes teams win regardless, sometimes it effects them, its life, but some continue to moan about there 1 year it effected them. We were never winning in 2021 once Brady got injured, but hey that's life, we over came adversity the year after when we had 2 riders missing for the final 2nd leg.

Not a great advert for speedway. It was very one-sided given that neither team made the play-offs. The track seemed very dusty and it was all about the gating - although there was some limited passing. It was easy to see why KL beat OXF in all of their league meetings this year. Much the same as OXF have done to BIR.

I trust the co-commentator on BSN will receive a fine for 'enjoying' the scenes and therefore, apparently, promoting violence. Load of nonsense. If there were scraps (handbags) at every meeting, the terraces wouldn't be so empty. -

Agreed I would pick Lawson out of the three he doesn't miss many matches and although he won't shoot the lights out can be relied upon to deliver a 7-8 point average over the season. -
How many would you estimate were there last night the stadium looks like it could hold three thousand easily given they have only been getting 500 odd per match it seems a stretch to think multi thousands turned up ?
-
Attending when I can due to work commitments on a Monday. At least I still follow and support the sport unlike the many who just gave up on the sport/club.
-
Fingers crossed that's the case we don't want to be losing any more tracks although the promoters take a lot of stick (justified in some cases) we can all agree 99% of them aren't in speedway for he money. Tolley is the perfect example hundreds of thousands spent but seems he's not done yet , his badge business must make a fortune for him.
-
I feel sorry for the fans but the track is rubbish because it’s prepared that way and the promoter shouldn’t be allowed to have anything to do with the sport ever again.

That skirmish probably did the sport more good than harm. I quite enjoyed it myself as it took me back to the times when that type of thing was quite a regular occurrence. It certainly created huge interest.😃 It makes me smile when I see the authorities quote the rule book as it just makes me wonder where it has been hidden for most of the season. -

Well the 2 teams I don't like 🙃 who will come out on top ? Can see the poo (le) pilots winning at home but the tiggers of Glasgow getting a narrow aggregate win. 2morrows result depends on which Fraser bowes turns up, hopefully the good one that top scored a few weeks ago for worky. Think the tiggers may want to prove a point after the heavy defeat by worky on Saturday
